Could be, I don't know about all that. Just that his shows were very decent and put the PARENTS in control.

That is what I am suggesting.

It all comes down to the parents aside from the random uncontrollable events.

All the violent video games and movies in the world won’t mean a thing if the parents have control of the home. Even better if the parents have firm control of the schooling.

I have a theory. Just a theory. Liberals seem to cluster into small areas. IE cities. That’s why damn near every large city votes Democrat majority.Sn old study, putting rats in a cage with an ever growing population created hostile actions by some. I think the same thing happens with humans. Add in gun control and free fire zones and I do think we get hostile behavior from certain members of the masses.

I do find it interesting that of these mass killings, the only one I can remember being perpetrated by a black was the Long Island Railroad shootings. maybe someone here on FR can help me with this.
Another interesting note is that the vast majority of these murders are perpetrated by young people. (under the age of 30)

States where common sense still prevails should secede before they get dragged down into the abyss with the rest of them.

It’s not fair for their citizens to suffer the same fate as those in the lemming states.

Let’s not forget that in the Waco firebombing, 74 men, women and children died — including twelve children younger than five years of age.

Another pointed question is: Why don’t these things happen more frequently in Israel where most everyone is walking around with guns? Oh, wait...maybe that is the answer.

When the Indians attack the fort,
the Cavalry wants the people inside the fort not to have any guns to defend themselves and they do not want the Cowboys outside the fort to have any guns neither.
The Cavalry only wants to be one mile away from the fort and arrive after the attack to try to figure the reasons why the Indians attacked the fort.

You are so right about all that.

My grandson play a lot of games, and some are violent war games. The difference is, they were raised in Church and know right from wrong.

I hear the military wants the game players, as they are more agile and perceptive to surroundings & problem solving.

Parenting is the key.

Hollywood has desensitized our youth with movies and tv shows that popularize the flagrant use of guns in a way no responsible gun owner would. But I won’t hold my breath for the liberals to admit that.

I can tell you exactly why it is happening. First, leftists have eschewed religion and prayer from the schools and have initiated a war against Christianity. When our schools included these topics, there was significantly less violence in the schools, primarily demonstrated by fist fights by overly hormoned males trying to impress a girl.

Second, neither the schools nor the parents teach personal responsibility or respecting others. This is one of the reasons that bullying has become a national epidemic. Again, these are things that religion and prayer teach.

Third, most of the kids are bored and frustrated with the school system. They know that they are being screwed by a school system that fails to teach them the tools and skills they will need to guide them through the rest of their lives. As a result of their frustration, they act out and often resort to violence as a means of venting their frustration and rage.

The fact is that for all the nonsense that has been introduced into the school system, kids today intrinsically recognize that they are being short-changed by their education. Back when I was in school (shortly after the invention of the wheel) there were an average of 33 - 35 kids to one teacher. No teacher’s aids, no helpers; just 1 teacher and 35 kids. We learned more and were demonstrably more prepared to enter the world outside of school when we graduated.

The left and its unions have turned the public school system into a jobs pogram for other leftists who don’t want to work and especially don’t want to teach. It is NOT a coincidence that, across America, the college of education at most universities has the lowest entry and graduation requirements.

Silly. Name any time in history when women were the main preps of violence. Men are violent animals. Always have been. Always will be. It is that testosterone thing.

If you feminized men, the violence would mostly disappear, not that that could ever be accomplished.

Israel is a safe place for children? I read different news. It’s different violence in that it is Jihadist based rather than without purpose, but being a child in Israel is more dangerous than being a child in America.

Actually, you missed one point: CBS was complaining that the reason for all this violence is that there is no gun control. CBS and all the mainstream media should look foremost at themselves rather then the NRA. If they showed common since morality and love of God and nation in their programing, instead of all the ruthless violence and sex in their programing that kids see day after day, they are the ones to blame. After watching all this violence, human life becomes dehumanized and they think nothing of killing. They even try to outdo what they just saw on TV.

Your point about See BS (and ALL of the alphabets, for that matter) is well taken. If See BS claims there is no gun control, they have never tried to purchase a gun. There are mandatory waiting periods and mandatory background checks jsut to be able to plop down your money to buy the gun. Then there is the mandatory federal registration and, now, gunpowder that is encoded with serial numbers to identify who purchased the ammunition.

Frankly, it's easier to board an airplane, even WITH all of the TSA's nonsense, than it is to buy a gun,

No gun control, See BS? It is to laugh!!
