This might come as a surprise but Medved is not a conservative he is a republican. He is often on the wrong side of the issue and he hates libertarians. As a alleged reformed leftist ( he claims) I think he still has a little left in him.
He has blasted any callers to his program that charged Barry as a socialist or marxist belittling them and defending Barry as just a misguided liberal but a nice guy.
Bill Bennett was pro-gun until Columbine. Cal Thomas also jumped on the anti-gun band wagon at that time.
Several Senators have come out as anti-gun people in the last few years.

Congress will be given a "crime control" bill which will contain a ban and lots of money to the States for "crime control". It will pass because that is how the 1968 gun control law was passed, AND the 1962 assault weapons ban was passed.

They are not usually raving leftist lunatics which is better than most liberal liberals, but that does not make them advocates for the conservative point of view.
O’Rielly is a religious/political Catholic (traditional democrat; a Marxist ideal with a Catholic social order) and Medved is a Jewish man who considered “controversial” and even conservative, because rejects the Marxist atheist agenda of limo-liberal Jews in the dem party.
