I wish to purchase an AR-15 and/or an FNFAL from a fellow Freeper (vanity)

I wish to purchase an FN-FAL and an AR-15, and I would like to do so with a fellow freeper who can accept payments over a period of months. There would be no delivery of the firearm until the payments are completed.

Laz, I’d help you if I could, and I wish you luck.

There is no way in the world I would sell my Rock River Arms LAR 15.

I have wanted to buy a shotgun for a very long time, but I kept putting it off. Last Friday put me over. By Saturday, I had located the shotgun that I wanted and put it on hold. On Sunday, I drove for 3 hours and picked it up.

I knew that things were going to start to move quickly this week, so I felt urgency in getting possession of the gun, even though it was a compromise of what I had initially wanted .

In my view, what ever you are going to do, you best do it quickly or you may be stuck without.

Again, good luck.

They are gone. I did not renew my NRA membership (30+ years) due to their support of these Rat tools.

If I had one to spare it would be yours.

Maybe a big magnet and a long rope? There are quite a few submerged ARs I understand.

I really need to buy more ammo. It just makes me sick to pay what ammo is bringing now. I guess it’s pay now or pay later tho...

laz you might want to look into what’s commonly called an 80% lower receiver as is its about 100 bucks and is legally a paperweight..it can be machined by you (with help from computer milling) into a legit lower receiver that you can keep till you die without registering

This is the route I'm taking. I have 2 80% LR's in transit that should arrive tomorrow. No FFL needed.

There are a couple of caveats to this method.

1) You have to do the finish machine work yourself

2) It has to be built without "intent to sell".

With regards to 1, there are jigs available (mine should be here next week) that allow you do do the finish machining with a drill press - something a fair amount of people already have, and not a bad tool to aquire. With regards to 2, there's a bit of a grey area, but the consensus seems to be that you can sell it later, but if you just can't build it for that purpose.

Now it's very possible the laws could change radically in the future, but if the last AWB is any guide, my first action would be to acquire a lower receiver. My second action would be to acquire high capacity magazines as they'll likely be banned. The rest of the parts, you can probably get later. It would be a good idea to get a little ammunition as well.

Another consideration - if you choose a 5.56 barrel, you can shoot both 5.56 and .223 rounds, losing a bit of oomph and accuracy on the .223s. If you choose a .223 barrel, then you're only going to be able to use .223 ammo, but the rifle will do a better job on it.

But if you buy the rifle in pieces, you can make that decision later, or get two sets of barrels & associate parts and swap them between receivers.

I have NO idea how wtc911 survives here, with his race-trolling. Not aware of his liberal views yet, but I wouldn’t doubt it.

Back in the day, wtc and his troop of howler monkeys used to stalk SheLion so they could hurl insults at her and smokers in general. One of his favorite arguments against smoking was that it costs "society" so much.

He's a screaming statist, and still a confirmed asshat.

Where did you get the 80% receiver, if you don’t mind telling?

Sure there are lots of conservatives who struggle to pay the bills. When I was forty I had a mortgage, car loan, kid in college, the rest of the usual bills, no job and $87.00 in the bank.

I sure as hell didn't spend any time on frivolous activity. I worked twelve and fifteen hour days until I bought myself the luxury of idle hours spent in front of a screen.

There is something inherently ass-backwards with a self-professed conservative who doesn't have two nickles to rub together yet spends countless hours being cute on the internet.

There is absolutely nothing 'elitist' about expecting a sober, adult, responsible conservative American man to act like one and take care of business before spending hours in front a screen, whether it's to play shooter games, surf porn or post cute gifs for the applause of strangers.

In fact, expecting such a self-described person to secure his financial future as a first priority is, or should be, a baseline minimum expectation.

If anybody in such slim financial straits were a ghetto dweller who spent his days playing Black-Ops instead of getting his ass down to Burger King to take orders for minimum wage folks on this forum would be tripping over themselves to villify him.

What, exactly is the difference?

There aren’t too many of those on a form 4 but Impact Guns had one several years ago. IIRC, it listed for around $150K.

Well, I got an email from these guys Sunday night that they got in some stock so I jumped.

http://www.shop.hlfmanufacturing.com/80-AR-15-Lower-Receiver-1001.htm

But it seems they’re already sold out. Sorry.

I did find another guy on the Calguns forum that has some. Doesn’t have a web site.

I bought my jigs from him, but he sells forged LRs for $95. I can’t speak to the quality since I didn’t order from him, but he seems to have good ratings on that forum.

Ban or not, date or not. I will not ever give mine up. If I don’t use them during the confiscation period they won’t find them.

The difference is that some dishonest person on the internet screaming about someone’s financial situation he knows nothing about makes for good comedy.

And just what would such a person know about being a conservative?

Real ones keep their word and such.

Don’t you have a PDS 12 step program to attend or something?

They’re available, if you have a quarter- to half-million to spend.

From what I’ve experienced of the firearms industry, the Democrats have done more to boost it by simply talking about bans than they were able to do for the auto industry by dumping $billions into their laps.

Maybe they should start talking about banning cars...

You obviously know nothing about Lazamataz.

I've known him since he was a child, living on the back streets of Harlem.

He was born a poor black child with a cleft lip and blind in one eye.
He overcame these challenges and elevated himself out of poverty
and squalor and into a much better situation, using only his own two
hands and his own keen mind. He did not let his speech defect
or his partial blindness or his deformity deter him in the pursuit
of his goals.

Dig that railroad tie out of your own eye before you worry about the splinter in Laz's one good eye.
