A woman riding the Chicago Transit Authority's Blue Line in Oak Park told police she was last week attacked by another passenger wielding a sock filled with human feces.
"He had a sock full of his poop on me," the 21-year-old college student told the Pioneer Press. "It was everywhere; on my face, my hair, my clothes."
The victim, requesting anonymity, said she screamed and tried to follow her attacker, but he escaped up the Austin Boulevard exit and ran northbound on Austin.
The college student, who came to Oak Park six weeks ago to live with a family and provide in-home child care, said she was riding an east-bound train from Oak Park to Chicago when she was attacked.
"The guy got on with me at [the] Oak Park [station]," she said. "I wasn’t really paying attention. ... "Next stop [at Austin], he throws something in my face."

It would be extremely effective, but only for one or two hits, unless you could reinforce the sock with duct tape or something. They will just bust open after a good crack.
The one I made wasn’t using quarters, but some “Now & Later” hard candies. It was my last resort to handle a bully twice my size back in summer camp. Worked like a charm... a couple whacks and he was balled up crying in front of the whole cabin.
Then, before the counselor came, I switched out the candies for another sock and tied it back up. So, when he ratted me out that I used a weapon, I showed it to the counselor, who revealed to the whole cabin it was just a pair of socks, which embarassed him even more. He never gave me any trouble after that incident!
Why split hairs? Collecting anyone’s poop in a sock already qualifies as a disturbing hobby.

Nowadays, even if they only thought I hit him with just a sock, I’d have been sent home and probably had the police called, because of “zero tolerance”.
Ew. That woman should have been hospitalized and examined carefully for signs of AIDS, any other infection, and poisoning.
The perp should have been hospitalized too, for blunt trauma from getting the **** beat out of him.
