Says the guy whose Party took religion out of their platform!! Who advocates the killing of unborn children! What a phony!
He speaks of Jesus as if he were just an ordinary prophet of peace, no more elevated than say, Mahatma Ghandi, MLK, etc. He further debases his “praise” by equating elements of faith in Jesus equal to other religions.
You have a humanization of Jesus, coupled with an equalization of other religions (I’m sure in his mind Allah and Islam) in which he is only making this perfunctory speech because he’s still not yet ready to proclaim he’s a Muslim.
Starkly, Jesus said he was the Son of God. Not a prophet, not just a human who wanted to good, to be equal with Muslims - the Son of God. If he can’t reserve the celebration of his birth on that day without humanizing and diluting the claim he should have just shut the hell up.

When have I ever heard the word LOVE enter the vernacular of the Muslim.
Muslims kill their sisters if that sister had sex, got raped, or just dated a Christian, I guess that’s being their keeper.
They murder their “brothers” ever day if that ‘brother’ happens not to belong to their particular sect of their cult.
Maybe Obama doesnt consider his Muslim faith to be a faith at all, but certainly this statement is BS when it comes to Muslims.

According to the koran, Jesus is the greatest of all prophets (until Mohammed). It says that he is nothing more, but that he will return as a destroyer of those who blasphemed allah by declaring him to be Son of God (and that, folks, is us Christians).
This is obviously what Obama believes too.
0bama must have forgotten that the Christ told His followers to arm themselves.
False, Mr. Obama, please provide a book, chapter and verse telling us to be our brother's keeper, before blaspheming His name.
It also isn't our commitment to love one another, but a command to love our brother as Christ loved His fellow man with a brotherly love. God isn't foolish enough to base His love upon our commitment, nor does He demand our commitment, but He does command us to love our fellow man as He loved us.
