Those delegates to the National Democratic Convention who were moved to tears by Vice President Al Gore's poignant story about his sister's death from lung cancer might not have been so misty-eyed if they knew about Gore's long and profitable relationship with tobacco. --snip-- He and his family made money by raising tobacco on their Tennessee farm for years - profiting from a product that killed lots of other people's sisters and husbands and parents and brothers and friends in a particularly vicious and cruel way.

Uncomortable? I believe the term is “inconvenient.”
Algore is a whore. There is nothing he won’t do to profit from other people.
Yep, there are some inconvenient truths in the background and activites of Al Gore.
But, none of this matters to liberals. Because Al Gore is liberal, he gets a pass on everything. Only conservatives/Republicans would be subject to criticism for anything like this.
Al Gore is a fat turd who has been attempting to scam the rest of us for years. He learned at the knee of his crooked, immoral father who made money by representing a Communist Russian agent while they were killing millions. The man is lower than rat crap and I hope he rots in hell.
Inconvenient indeed.Liberals always want to do “The right thing”as long as they use other people’s money or it costs them nothing personally. If it’s gonna cost them personally, then they get all bent out of shape.
And now he has millions in oil money.
but whores still need clients.
Pelosi owns a winery....why should Al Gore feel bad about tobacco?
This should win him some new supporters on FR. ;’)
Thanks Kid Shelleen.
Didn’t I just hear on the news the Al Gore pushed the sale of his TV interest to Al-Jezeera into 2012 to save taxes? What a crook on many fronts. Doing business with terrorists!!!
IOW -- Many "farmers" from Virginia to Tennessee would get paid very well by the gub'mint NOT to grow a crop in certain years...
... or to grow only small amounts of acreage.
Those who learned to game the system back in the day were considered the gentry who never topped the plants or had to sucker a single leaf.
Cha-chingggg.... $$$$$....
