The missing 5-year-old girl who was snatched from a Cobbs Creek school Monday was found safe in Delaware County overnight.
The victim was found on a playground on 69th Street by a good samaritan, wet, wearing only a T-shirt, according to Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood.
"This morning around 4:40 [a.m.] a fellow on his way to work heard screams for help, he was walking, he goes over to a playground area and finds a little girl hiding underneath the jungle gym," Chitwood told NBC10's Tim Furlong.
The man immediately called police.
Police tell NBC10 that she told them she was taken from school the day before and that she was cold and scared.

The man who found this little girl deserves a medal for acting quickly. The abductor..on film.... was wearing a burkha...can’t even tell if its a woman or a man.

something don’t sound right.... in this day and age i find it hard to believe that a kid just walked away with a total stranger. especially in these PC ‘stranger danger’ times.

She (the abductor)has her face covered and only her eyes showing. " Political correctness could have cost this child her life. So cowed by political correctness, not one person in the office had the nerve to ask this woman to take off her covering so she could be properly identified if not by the office people, then by the child.

-— In 2011, three juvenile boys were charged with raping a male student inside the school. ——
And “parents” continued to send their children to this schoolag. They are as much to blame as the schoolag administors; and so are the people who excuse the parents.

If I’m not mistaken the girl’s mother was wearing a burka of sorts when she was interviewed on TV. This whole thing does not pass the smell test.
The abductor knew the girl’s name and which room she was in. The school released her to a woman they didn’t know and signed with an unrecognizable signature. WHERE IS THE FATHER IN ALL THIS?
Stinks, stinks, stinks!

My cellphone is set up to receive Amber Alerts, apparently... which I forgot setting it up that way. Last night I got a notification of an Amber Alert... but it gave no details so I went and looked it up (the amberalert.gov website was non reactive on my phones browser) and eventually I found it was clear across the other side of Pennsylvania from me... and was issued like 12 hours earlier... and that it was an abduction by someone wearing a bhurka. First thing I thought was... honor killing. Glad it didn't end that way. Here is the photo from the alert. I am glad she is OK. What an adorable little girl...
