It is an argument to treat the underlying reason, the cause of the addictive behavior.
I knew you wouldn’t get it.

“Who exactly wants that and in exactly what words did they say so?”

Every time you guys say to legalize drugs.
On whose authority to begin with?
By what government power?
You [the pro-drug crowd] says government doesn’t have the right or power one way or the other, yet you want government to legalize drugs.

You don’t help an alcholic by making it easier for him to get his fix.
You don’t help drug addicts by making it easier for them to get their fix.

This is either an argument for both alcohol and other drugs being banned or for neither being banned.

It is an argument to treat the underlying reason, the cause of the addictive behavior.

Does drug illegality treat that? If not, while we're treating that, should we make alcohol and other addictive drugs legal or illegal?

Wrong as usual - what government has no right to make illegal, it has a positive obligation to keep legal. See, "legal" is the default option in the absence of government action; government didn't have to do a thing to make plaid shirts legal.

Nope, not wrong.
You want stuff legalized.
That takes government power.
Otherwise, it’s a non-issue.
What power are you appealing to on this?

Why would you put your children someplace where someone could push them into a homosexual marriage or force them to do drugs? A little hands on parenting goes a long way.

That is the point, isn’t it?
Our children are being indoctrinated.
And whether it is state or federal is irrelevant.

Aleready answered in post 114.

You mean "Whether drugs are legal or not is immaterial"? That answers my first question; are you also saying that you have no preference between legality and illegality of alcohol and other addictive drugs?

Again, from post 114 and pay attention:
Whether drugs are legal or not is immaterial.
The underlying addictive behavior will still exist.
You don’t help an alcholic by making it easier for him to get his fix.
You don’t help drug addicts by making it easier for them to get their fix.
You aren’t helping them, and you aren’t improving their lives or fixing the underlying issue.

Already answered your nonquestion.

No mason is free; all of them are in bondage to their Father, the Devil!

Could that be your problem?

BTW, the Ark of the Covenant has been found; so much for secrecy, huh!

Correct.

That takes government power.

Wrong - that takes government change in ceasing to exercise power.

For something to be declared legal, power must move one way or the other.
Yes, you are appealing to governemnt, the same one you say has no authority to begin with.
So if that authority doesn’t apply, why the issue?

That's either 'yes, I have no preference between legality and illegality of alcohol and other addictive drugs' - or it's no answer at all.

I did not say that, and you are trying to lead me into a place I never intended to go...

the feds have more power than they were granted...

this power needs to be stripped from them..

do I agree with the subjects you have mentioned... no.

but if the state I live in adopts those laws that I do not agree with, either I change them, or I go to a state that holds my beliefs...

if the fed passes said law, where ya gonna go??? what ya gonna do???

me personally, I would rather have sodom and gomorrah in one place that I do not have to be a part of, then a federal mandate creating a nation of sodom and gomorrah, leaving me no place to go...

does this make any sense to you?

Consult a dictionary - power is not the same as authority.

Name one place anywhere in America, including inside any of our federal penitentiaries, where anyone cannot obtain any illegal drug they choose on demand.
