Men, mopping the kitchen may not help you get lucky in the bedroom!

Men who do more household chores typically viewed as feminine - like cleaning, cooking and washing - have less sex than those who don't, according to a new study.

The findings, published in the journal American Sociological Review, are correlational, so they can't say whether dish-washing actually makes men less sexy.

"Our findings suggest the importance of socialised gender roles for sexual frequency in heterosexual marriage," said Sabino Kornrich, lead author from the Center for Advanced Studies at the Juan March Institute in Madrid.

"Couples in which men participate more in housework typically done by women report having sex less frequently. Similarly, couples in which men participate more in traditionally masculine tasks' such as yard work, paying bills, and auto maintenance-report higher sexual frequency," Kornrich said in a statement.

I think it means that femme meek guys who are under female domination and lack a pair get less but maybe cause they don't want it or initiate less

I am very alpha...head of family but i stay up later often and don't hesitate to do laundry or dishes or cook on occasion etc

And we have a steady love life only maybe 25% less frequency than when we were much much younger....it's something we both set aside time for and anticipate several times a week..and on occasion even have fun spontaneous stuff

Wifey is southern...she doesn't confront head on...she knows how to persuade effectively

Don't dump all housework on wife especially if she works outside the home too

My kids have the usual issues with electronics, but they are active and they do read for pleasure. What I see happening is a lack of development of communication and affection. I recently got my daughter to kiss me on the cheek, but she on’t do it if anyone is around. I’m the only person she will kiss. Heartbreaking. Good luck to you, but I choose to fight for myself and for my kids.

I keep my own house clean. I don’t need some bossy fat uneducated arrogant woman telling me how to keep a house clean. All my years as a sanitation restaurant inspector gave me a different outlook about what was clean and what wasn’t. Most women don’t have a clue about what clean really is and the current upcoming crop is less educated and lazier than the previous one.

Dumb study.

If men permit women to totally mentally and socially dominate them, they will wreck sexual balance. No woman should have to make a grown man do his part in life maintence and responsibility. Then she’s his mommy and mommies don’t make love to their children.
