New Term for Mainstream Media: Assault Media

I do not get this from her blog, but as a tweet of hers when it was re-tweeted by someone I follow. I never heard of her before today, but thought the term "Assault Media" deserved widespread notice around there here parts.

From now on, that's how I will refer to them. I don't even know if she came up with the term.

The MSM runs 24/7. That's pretty high-capacity news dissemination just spraying news out indiscriminately. No one needs 24/7 news. The MSM should be limited to two hours of news per day, one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. Background checks and mental health screening for all MSM employees should be mandatory.

Thanks! And in spite of the FCC the MSM isn’t very well-regulated either. I recommend that 0bama replace all of the CEOs and start a government-run MSM union using the confiscated funds of all the bond holders. He has precedent to do it.

Assault media? Yeah, they made Bush miserable for eight years by assaulting virtually everything he did as President. Obama is in the first year of his second term and is yet to be assaulted by the liberal media on any issue ... they're still on honeymoon mode with their ‘chosen’ one.
