FULL TITLE: Bragging attacker posted horrifying video on Facebook of girl, 16, being brutally beaten on school bus
An honor roll student in Pasco County, Florida was viciously attacked on the school bus by a fellow student who then posted a video of the sickening incident on Facebook and bragged about it.
Chase Cristia, 16, says she was attacked on Friday afternoon after sticking up for a friend earlier that day.
During the brief but brutal beating an unnamed 17-year old girl approached Chase at the back of the bus, grabbed her and then repeatedly punched her in the back of the head and neck at least 10 times.

All the while, the attacker’s 16-year-old accomplice recorded the beating with her cell phone. All three girls attend Mitchell High School.
‘I just kind of ducked down and thought I can't do anything about it because I don't want to get into trouble, and I don't want that to affect the way people think of me,’ said Chase, who was treated in hospital for bruises.
Tracy Cristia, Chase’s mother is unhappy that no one else on the bus – especially the driver - was prepared to step in and protect her daughter.
When she collected her daughter from the bus, Chase was in tears and so she confronted the driver who protested that the fight was over before he could pull his bus over. According to the school district, their driver followed the correct protocol.
Tracy Cristia then called 911 to press charges against the attacker.
According to Pasco County deputies, the driver didn't fill out the paper work to report the fight until Monday and then the two girls were arrested and charged the following day.

I once lived in Pasco county. It is a rough place. In my opinion, it is the butthole of the world.
Too bad. That's not the bus driver's job. The bus driver's job is to ... wait for it ... drive the bus.
If need be, the driver can pull over and call the cops if there is no driver's aide available, but can you imagine being the person who has to break up a fight between underage members of the opposite sex?
Probably as a condition of him taking her case.
This policy of “zero” tolerance for violence includes NOT being able to defend yourself from someone who attacks you. This “all violence” is wrong is idiotic and unrelated to the real world. Liberal naievity on display.
There was a day in this country, when a bully (finally) getting a good smack in the mouth was considered just desserts for his behavior. I knew of one bully who was sucker-punched by one of his victims during passing-period at school. Sucker-punched so bad that his jaw was broken! The assailant was heralded by the class for settling the score we all had with that individual, and I don't recall the school taking any corrective action. When the bully finally returned to school with a mended jaw, the bully had mended his ways too and never picked on another student as long as he attended there.
Sounds like a fair trade to me.

American children always follow that which is heralded as being cool and hip. Look what Hollywood, and the music industry supports today, and you will see where the current generation of preteens will be in a couple of years.

I don’t see anything wrong with “ruining the lives” of the perps...in fact, they should be the ones seeking an order of protection, fearing retribution for such a cowardly act.

For the record - nothing pi##es me off more than these stupid sites that put up video and then have such a slow/lousy server you sit for minutes waiting for it and it never comes up. Just put it on Youtube ya dopes!
My sisters 13 year old son was jumped from behind and was held in a choke hold until he passed out. When he came to, another altercations occurred. My nephew went into the class room seeking protection from the teacher. The help never happened and the teacher when questioned claimed, "she did not see nothing".
When my sister's (the Mom) talks with the principal resulted in his sarcastic and disrespectful reply that, "the kid was sorry, what do you want?? Want me to hang him??". My sister went to the police and filed assault charges against the bully. We are still waiting for his court date.
My wonderful (widow) sister has taken him out of that school and enrolled him in a "Conservative Christian" school online.

The worst fight, hands down, that I ever witnessed in person was between two girls when I was in high school. Nothing was off limits .... biting, scratching, hitting, kicking, ripping out hair (there were handfulls of hair on the ground), ripping off clothes. It took two coaches and a couple of football players assisting to get them apart and drag them to the principal’s office .... they were still trying to get at each other half way down the sidewalk. It was an ugly, ugly scene.
It’s ok as long as she didn’t point her finger like a gun or throw a pretend hand grenade.
