LA vs. Chicago - What is being done to stop killer(s)?
Vanity | 7 February 2013 | Mene

Posted on 02/07/2013 9:02:18 PM PST by MeneMeneTekelUpharsin

If California can pull together that kind of "army" to find Dorner, why can't Illinois organize a task force to clean up Chicago? Hmmmm??? Or, the event at least begs a lot of questions as to why murderers elsewhere can't be found, arrested and condemned. Seems like it's more important when police or those related to them are killed than when civilians are murdered.

Seems like the REAL problem is lack of justice in this nation. The privileged, the elites, Federal Officials and LEOs are first in line for justice. What about the common man? What about the principles on which this nation was founded?

So far we have 5 people down from the cop killer and 3 people down from the cops. That is not a good score board. The photos of the police on the TV news looks more like a mob scene than a organized response. I guess our overlapping jurisdictions are showing. State, county, city, FBI, Harbor police..all moving toward a target.

I think the inner city kids killing each other off is the plan from Chicago’s administration.

They are doing nothing.

It reminds me of Newark NJ in the early eighties. Cops, just, did not go there.

" That is not a good score board"

I used to seriously question the plausibility of the Henry Bowman actions - today, not so much.

I'd also note that the Texas prosecutor hit has no published suspects yet.

Furthermore, if all the LA cops are out protecting one another, it would seem quite the opportunity for all the other criminals there.

Plus California Highway Patrol, Park Rangers (federal, state), ATF etc.

He can’t change appearance like a white medium sized guy.

The police are often in an unwinnable situation in situations, like Chicago. If the police went in, with a heavy hand, the communities would riot and burn the place down.

I was thinking of that too. Since they are so occupied elsewhere, now what's going to happen?

Because We the People are considered “ASSETS” to the Government, they Need and want our money, yes Even criminals, because their property can be seized as well as any item of value they may have accumulated. This is all about FUNDING THEIR RETIREMENTS and nothing else, that is why the Police generally don’t give a damn about the Very People that pay their salary and retirement, except to TAX them using the Traffic Citation and Civil Fines.

You say this as if it was a bad thing. In Chicago, these neighborhoods are overrun with feral gangs. What I'd do is allow the people living there to arm themselves for protection and issue “wanted dead or alive” statements to the populations: Turn these guys over to the cops (condition does not matter). If alive that's fine; if dead that's also fine and there will be no prosecutions for the room temperature perps.

There are two very active and affirmative ways to stop violent criminals.

The first is for the state to quickly and judiciously execute them within a year or two of their sentencing, by reducing the endless delays found in the appeals process.

But the state and federal governments have made it clear they do not wish to do this. Which leaves the alternative.

An armed citizenry, who with some inexpensive bullets will deny the government the ability to protect and defend the lives of violent criminals from justice.

Importantly, the federal and state governments limits who it is willing to execute to just the most heinous of multiple murderers, but the armed citizenry is under no such restriction.

So in the prevention of and defense against violent crimes and even damage or theft of property, the citizenry may act as judge, jury and executioner; which has always been their God-given right, of which government rarely approves.

Thus, in those high crime areas of the country, where government has tried to suppress the God-given rights of the citizenry, the result of this suppression is its own punishment. And if the people of those places ever wish to be free of the oppression of crime and criminals, they must once again assert their God-given rights and defend themselves.
