What are you doing instead of watching Dormer and Obama? (Vanity)

I am waiting for my daughter to come home from her Civil Air Patrol meeting and I have a movie ready to go for the family this evening. It is a much better alternative than having the yell at the TV using language that is completely unacceptable. I am sure it would only take 30 seconds before I call Obama Amish if I start watching him.

I previewed a movie that is on Netflix the other night. It seems like it will be a good one. A teenage boy that sails unassisted around the world back in the 60's. Low tech, no GPS, storms, strange lands, and for women, a love story. This is what we will watch.

The reason ... It's not because he sailed around the world, or climbed a mountain, it's because he didn't give up ... That gives people hope.

Carson spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast last week. Obama was right there as he spoke his eloquent common sense solutions to some problems we’ve been facing in our country. If you haven’t seen the video, it’s well worth the time (27 minutes). If 27 min sounds too long, listen to the first few minutes and judge for yourself. Carson has insisted in interviews afterwards that his speech wasn’t directed at the President, and perhaps not, but he sure did seem to knock down Obama’s and the Dems’ beliefs one by one.

You’re welcome! I knew you’d love him! What’s not to love? Carson is the complete opposite of Obama.

Yes, still watching. I love it...he's just being himself. I'm finding him on FB and liking this guy!

Watching Roger Moore as 007 James Bond in the 1983 movie, Octopussy, on Reelz channel. And flipping back and forth to the Westminister Dog Show. Both are much, much more interesting than having to listen that wanna be communist drone on about “focusing like a laser beam’ on job creation for the umpteenth million time. What a loser we have elected.

See below my comments on the PWD.

I don’t like to vomit so I will be reading a great book about early American History during the Revolution. I would suggest everybody read the books by F. van Wyck Mason. I’m on his last book now. ‘Three Harbors’. Mr. Mason is a true American patriot who is a retired military officer who has really studied researched his American History. Today he would be called very ‘politically incorrect’ like Oliver North. He portrays the vision of America like the early Americans planned it, which is deffinently not America like Comrade O’bummer is planning it. A perfect antadote for tonight.
F. van Wyck Mason has written a lot of detective novels as well, if that’s is what you like and I will be delving into these next.

I love how he explained how large $16.5 trillion is. How can you ignore it when he explains the magnitude of it like that? I’m trying to spread the word about him to as many people as I can. He’s planning to retire from the surgery part of his practice soon. He’s considering devoting some time to solving our country’s problems, and said that if God nudges him in that direction, he will pay attention to that call.

Yes! That was great. Tom Sowell has a great quote about that too. I’ll find it. I went over to FB and “liked” him on two pages. I’m going to post his speech there too. Thanks so much. I kept hearing his name recently, but didn’t have any idea who he was.

“Many people have trouble even forming some notion of what such numbers as billion and trillion mean. One way to get some idea of the magnitude of a trillion is to ask: How long ago was a trillion seconds? A trillion seconds ago, no one on this planet could read and write. Neither the Roman Empire nor the ancient Chinese dynasties had yet come into existence. None of the founders of the world’s great religions today had yet been born.”—Thomas Sowell September 2008

Just plucking some of the polar bears I bagged today. I use old refrigerators as decoys to lure them down. Seems to be quite a large migration this year. I used my polar bear call, too. It sounds like a snowmobile turning over. They taste a little gamey, but the right wine makes the meal. A good Wyoming White really goes with polar bear. I use their feathers to make pillows.
