Political Cartoon Mocks Murdered Navy SEAL To Make Point On Gun Control
The Mental Recession ^ | 02/14/2013

Political cartoonist Lee Judge took an abhorrent cheap shot at Second Amendment supporters recently, by using the murder of Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle as a means to belittle their argument.

Kyle is the decorated American sniper that was tragically murdered earlier in the month by an Iraq war veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Kyle’s friend, Chad Littlefield was also murdered that day.

As is typical of gun control fanatics, Judge completely ignores the mental health issue involved in the killing, and instead mocks Kyle’s inability to stop the shooting.

Via BizPac Review (h/t Weasel Zippers):

. . . And yet on Wednesday, just a day after Kyle’s burial, the Charlotte Sun Herald ran a political cartoon that took an obvious jab at Second Amendment advocates’ insistence that “good guys with guns” are the best way to stop crazy shooters. The timing of such commentary was a classless act that disrespected Kyle’s family and all who’ve served their country.

The slight also appears to be intentional. The cartoon, by Kansas City Star cartoonist Lee Judge, was originally published on Feb. 9 — three days before Kyle’s memorial service.

Here is the cartoon in question…

Kansas City Star cartoonist Lee Judge is responsible for this, email him at ljudge@kcstar.com. His boss, Miriam Pepper, at mpepper@kcstar.com.

Thanks for the hotlinks...I've shared with both the cartoonis and his boss my opinion of their thoughtless exploitation of Chris Kyle.

A$$HOLES!

Like most liberal “humor” it is only funny if you believe their flawed premises.

In this instance one would have to believe the leftist straw man that 2A proponenets believe all crime could be prevented if we put guns in the hands of everyone.

Lee Judge is probably the worst political cartoonist ever to live. This is one of his best works as it is a recognisable scene and at least vaguely related to the purported subject.

Usually, you can’t tell what the devil he has drawn.

I don’t think comments should be emailed to this scoundrel. Instead send emails to the owners of the Kansas City Star, to tell them that based on this comic, you will now inform others that the KC Star is “un-patriotic and anti-military”, and that you will send copies of this email to their advertisers, to recommend they should reconsider supporting such a newspaper, unless they also agree with its Un-American editorial position.

I looked at it, also.
I would venture that it says,”This bonafide American warrior hero, sucks and everyone should give up all guns because all the people who know what’s good for you say so.”

Hmmm..OK, I get it now.

Haha.
Real funny and witty./s

Not how I read it. I think he is saying that the hero sniper was a good guy, but a good guy with a gun wasn't enough to stop the bad guy with a gun.

More likely he was being snarky and taking a shot at Wayne LaPierre’s statement that good guys with guns are the solution to bad guys with guns. In the retarded mind of a liberal anytime a good guy with a gun fails to prevent a bad guy with a gun, that’s proof positive that the premise can NEVER be true. They excel at the logical fallacy of reductio ad absurdum, like young children, when they argue everything is an absolute and an extreme.

Having lived in the KC area for 7 years not too long ago, I can say with certainty that Lee Judge is a complete douche and serves as a poster child for what libtards look like and act like. But even douches have a 1A right to proclaim to all what a douche they really are.

That's close.......what he is saying is, the pro-gun movement touts a good guy with a gun is what it takes to defeat a bad guy. So here's your good guy that had a gun, and it didn't do him any good so the argument is baseless......gun control is the only answer to this tragedy.
