LaHood: Time for GOP to "wake up" to avoid "calamity" at airports

Those of us who will drive 2,000 miles rather than submit to the TSA gropers and the airline “service” which is fast approaching 1970’s Soviet Union levels of quality, actually don’t give a crap what happens at the airport.

I'm with you there.

I have loved flying since I was a little boy [gee, those biplanes were fun], but I haven't stepped on a plane in well over a decade. My brother has invited me on a trip to London all expenses paid. I'll probably break my anti-flying vow, but I really wish he'd consider the "Queen Mary".

Heck, I'd probably take the Carnival "Triumph" if it meant skipping security.

He’s losing a billion dollars out of a seventy-billion dollar budget - one day off every three months for each employee - yet my daughter, who works for the FAA, has been subjected to scare stories for weeks about how people will be fired or at the best be forced to take a day off every week for the next half-year - these terror tactics are a disgrace.......

LaHood is the buffoon who ran the Clinton impeachment trial. After his fiasco then, he should have never been put in charge of anything else. He was and is the quintessential RINO - that’s why Obama picked him.
