This guy is good. Really good.

The Entabulator

This is how you need to look and sound when you're talking way over your head. How this guy manages to keep a straight face is beyond me. I was waiting for him to start cracking up, but it sounds so reasonable. Many years ago, Rockwell International decided to get into the heavy duty automatic transmission business. They were preparing to tape their first introductory video and, as a warm-up, one of the stage crew began a monologue that has become legend within the training industry. This man should have won an academy award for his performance. Now keep in mind, this was a rehearsal for camera, lighting, and stage crew, and he had no script! This is all strictly off the cuff, nothing is written down, and nothing he says is true. It's just meaningless drivel made up as he goes along. I am told this video is still utilized as a training aid for prospective politicians, lawyers, and spin doctors

I am going to show this to my team tomorrow. We have been preparing for a project and my team went “MEGO” when the project was explained.

For those of you not familiar with the term, “MEGO” means “My Eyes Glazed Over.”

Not really. Depending on the machining process and the tolerances of the discronifigator, “apparently tolerances could be as little as .0000079812 of a spiffowatt” the viability of the part lasting beyond its planned obsolescence date increases.

While that can be true, my understanding is that it only works when you use the Logan super anti flux lathe with anti super infused metabolic four jaw chucks, and now since you can only get those from China, they all turn out slanted.

Ergo, the obsolescence date turns out to be a snake...of course, that could explain the situation we find our Country in....

BTW, I meant to compliment you on your current PC notation of tolerance specifications, leaving out the plus or minus.

As we all know, today, tolerance only works one way....lol!

Sort of reminds me of a semiconductor manufacturer, where one of the tech writers was convinced that nobody actually read the docs he wrote, he came up with one for "Write Only Memory" and added it to their official documentation. Later on, the same company released it as an April Fools joke.
