That is a funny cartoon - so I have a question regarding Federal employees: bammer said the cleaning crew would be getting a cut in pay - can they legally do that since they are unionized? Or even if they could/would, would the union make up the difference?
I would say they will not get a cut in pay and that they won’t even get “furloughed” as others have.
I have a liberal cousin - they are already screaming this..... disgusting, huh?
The worker is there to provide a guaranteed source of income to the union. Not the other way around.
I have a friend who works for GM and when their hours were cut, the union made up the difference in their pay. I guess each union is different. That is what I based my question on.
Unreal isn’t it? It just proves the dems are not happy people in any way - they constantly lie,cheat or steal to get what they want, which is to take away everything that makes us happy.
My contractor friend got quite a laugh out of my sweatshirt-the one that reads “Jesus is coming” on the front and “and he is really pissed” on the back. He is bringing me a sweatshirt on Friday so I can make him one like it...

GM was paying for that, not the union. Their contract stipulated some insane terms about how they had to continue paying the people they didn’t need. The stories about the workers playing cards and watching porn on PCs are legion.
Liberals remind me of why I quit working as a casemanager and do construction instead-they are like the worst clients who wanted everyone they felt was to blame for their injury to have to pay them comp money-the employer and the comp carrier, etc-whine, whine, whine...
Failing that, they wanted to get an ambulance chaser lawyer to sue for “the purple wage”, aka SSDI. They weren’t happy unless everyone else was pissed off and out of money and patience-absolutely just like liberals...
Seriously? I always thought that was just an illustrative story-like what used to be called the “8-hour loaf” at Kelly field when I was a kid
Thanks - I wasn’t sure how the deal was done but my friend (who is still there) started in the 80’s before laptops or even PCs but they DID carry porn and alcohol in their lunch containers.... some of the stories I heard were just unreal!
