Any Freepers in the Washington DC Area?
Posted on 03/07/2013 7:04:35 AM PST by DiogenesLamp
I'm looking for a Freeper in the Washington DC area who can get some documents from the National Archives for me. What I want appears to not be available online.
TOPICS: History; Society
KEYWORDS: archives; history
I'll give a description of what I want in a private email to an appropriate respondent. I'm willing to pay a reasonable fee if it is necessary.

Do you want me to smuggle them out in my pants? ;-)

You could also post a note on the DC board.

You could also post a note on the DC board. I am not familiar with how to do that. I would appreciate it if you would enlighten me.

Apparently that is broken at this time or at least for the DC board. You can use your location board if you select a location such as a state or country and post messages on that board which only those on that board will see. I tried changing to DC but it won’t allow posting to the board and the last board post was back in 08.

For retrieval purposes, most documents are at the National Archives is in Maryland. The Archives on the Mall houses the Founding Documents but MOST docs are out in Adelphi/College Park.

Sure thing, anything you need. Im currently an underemployed Marxland hostage and only a small $500.00 retainer fee can get you anything that is available to the public. ;)
Archives Locations:
Washington, DC
College Park, MD
Suitland, MD
