I belong to a local gun/ammo sales board and there are always some folks whining about people charging too much for their ammo. That it’s not “fair”, that the board has gone “down hill” because of all these people trying to “take advantage” of others.
Of course, I’m sure there was no whining when some guy sold his AR-15 before Dec 2012 for $400 because he needed the cash. These same folks were probably crowing what a good deal they got.

I’ve never bought ammo, over the internet as I have this fear about privacy, security, etc.
Perhaps I’m paranoid, but seems to me to order over the internet is to tell potential government eavesdroppers what armament I have by the ammo I order, as well the documentation by the credit card company verifies for them what it is that I have in my possession.
I prefer to order my ammo from a trusted dealer I know in town.

OK Just WHAT is a local gun/ammo sales board? It's just a website like FR or ar15.com but all it is for is to sell guns/ammo and accessories. A message board.

This also needs to be done with reloading equipment. $40 die sets are selling for $127 on Ebay because the stores are out.

Be careful shipping. USPS doesn’t accept and severe repercussions if it’s found in the mail.

I like the “Ammo engine” at AR-15.com. Updated several times a day. Haven't used in in probably a year. Give it a try. Then also they do have a for sale section and used ammo shows up regularly. Also, M-4.net equipment exchange. But for new ammo the ar-15 site is great.

But, according to the movie, The Longest Day, every one ran in different direction as soon as they heard what they were waiting for, John has a long mustache.
