If the woman in your life woke up grumpy this morning, don’t be too hard on her. It is, apparently, only natural.
Scientists have discovered that women need more sleep than men. And chances are, she’s not getting enough. In fact, the best thing a loving husband or partner can do is perhaps persuade her to get a few extra hours snuggling under the duvet. Or face the consequences.
Scientists say women suffer more than men, both mentally and physically, if they are forced to skimp on their sleep. As well as a higher risk of heart disease, depression and psychological problems, sleep-deprived women have extra clotting factors in their blood, which can lead to a stroke. They also have higher inflammation markers, which indicate developing health problems. …

Amen to that!
This makes sense. I am way less cranky than my husband when I wake up (but I do need quiet in my early morning work hours). However, I don’t like working more than about a 10 hour work day, and I get cranky at the end of a really long day (i.e. bedtime).

Men are able to adapt to living in hovels and having nothing to eat by rice and beans, and they’re happy. Women, not so much. :)

Without going into detail... mornings are a good time for her. A GREAT time for me, yes sir.
My wife agrees with this study 100%!
I get up in a good mood...specially if I’m going golfing, fishing, hunting...my hubby will vouch... my 16yr old daughter...she has the *death to who talks to me* look in her eyes. She will chat joyfully to the animals however.
“All I want my wife to do in the morning is make my coffee, breakfast, and a sammich for my lunch.” and AFTER YOU told her THAT you didn’t see her for a week and then you could see her when you held one eyelid open.
I saw her, in a week, after the swelling subsided.
And, in other non-news, Miley and Liam have officially broken up...

That explains why we have to cook for them and remind them to take the darn trash out!
