A distant speck appeared in the ether and began to grow larger at an alarming rate. As it approached, a howling yell became audible; growing to deafening volume then cut short by a blinding flash of blue-white light, and an earth-rattling impact.

Silence reigned supreme as a thick cloud of dust slowly wafted away on the light breeze. The clearing cloud left behind a lone figure lying motionless on the ground. All of the loose surface soil had been blasted away in radial lines extending outward from the corpse to a distance of some ten or twelve feet.

A minute passed. Then two more. A brief gust of wind sent a small tumbleweed dancing over the body. Ever so slightly, a finger twitched. The dead man coughed, grimaced, and drew a long, slow, excruciating breath allowing it to escape, again, with a pain-riddled, “uuunnngggghhh.”

The not-dead man did not stir, again, for a very long time, as he seemed to be calling his own soul back from the distant reaches of deep space; perhaps even farther. At last, he rolled onto his back, and opened his eyes to the clear blue noonday sky.

“Beware the Ides of March,” he intoned dryly. “And I thought you only meant Caesar.”

That is true! BTW.. referencing something from the previous location, do auto dealers on your side of the Big Pond let you take test drives, and if so, what would their reaction be to a similar situation as was posted?

Having checked on who JG was,it would be very difficult to achieve a prank.
They always take a copy of both parts of the driving licence and phone through to ensure it's validity. Killjoys.
