NEW DELHI (AP) — A Swiss woman who was on a cycling trip in central India with her husband has been gang-raped by eight men, police said Saturday. The attack comes three months after the fatal gang-rape of a woman aboard a New Delhi bus outraged Indians.

Women ARE prey everywhere. It isn’t trying to exonerate the men who do it to say that women should be aware of this and take steps to avoid being insuch a situation if they can.
Although I will concede that some people will try to do so in this fashion.
My question is: what the heck to people want to do visiting 3rd world heckholes all the time? Beats me.
What is UP with Indian men? They raped an innocent bus passenger to death. They raped this woman. You can’t go to a gas station in NYC without one of them coming on to you. Freaks.
Significantly higher numbers of rapes occur in America than in India, both on an absolute, AND on a per-capita basis. Even the outrage against rape is significantly mellower in the US than in India. That bus rape incident got the country coming to a halt with mass protests everywhere, and new laws calling for the death penalty for rapists have been imposed. What happened with the Steubenville rape case here? Or that other gang-rape incident in Texas yesterday? Slowly petering out to general public amnesia.
