I stood my ground (How one man stood up to the jack booted thugs in NJ.....it's coming)

The fight has officially been brought to my front door

Last night I was out with a buddy of mine. I got a text from my wife that the cops and dyfs are at the house and they wanna check out my guns and needed me to open my safe. I'm instantly on my way. I get in contact with evan Nappen on the way. I explain the situation. I walk in my house and hand the phone to the first cop I see. Then direct all of em outside. Dyfs got a call because of a pic on my son holding a gun. They wanted to look around and check all my guns out, make sure they were all registered. Obviously that didn't go well because I refused. I had Nappen on speaker phone the entire time so they had to deal with both of us. They kept trying to pressure me to open my safe. They had no warrant, no charges, nothing. I didn't budge. I was told I was being "unreasonable" and that I was acting suspicious because I wouldn't open my safe. Told me they were gonna get a search warrant. Told em go ahead. Nappen (my lawyer) asked me for the dyfs workers name. she wouldnt give it. i asked for credentials and she wouldnt show em. i tried to take a pic of her and she turned around real fast and walked away. After a while of them threatening to take my kids, get warrants and intimidation they left. Empty handed and seeing nothing.

People it can happen that fast. Most people wouldn't have stood up to them like I did.

"First thing one of the cops asked is “how many guns do you have?”

"Not enough, officer. Have a great day!"

Christie will put a stop to that crap.

After all, he is the guv’ner and he will defend and uphold the 2nd Amendment even if he has to shed some pounds.

Evan Nappen is one of the foremost Second Amendment attorneys in New Jersey. I met him once. He has been at the forefront, not an easy place in New Jersey.

Always have a digital audio recorder onhand in your car and by your front door ... and if possible , a digital video recorder , you can get a decent quality one for under $15... with an 8gb tf memory card.

Maybe soon Americans will realize that they have lost their freedom and what little we have is hanging on by a thread. Communists are rapidly controlling America and our rights are disappearing.

"Since when is a picture of a “child” holding a rifle cause for suspicion of child abuse?"

oh...about 5 years now...coinciding with Ø

Personally, I got off F.B. years ago, removed all firearms pics & vids from youtube, and started buying 'hard-to-find-nowdays' items a few years ago,
knowing that another school shooting & madness would ensue.

There’s always some “justification.” “for the children.”

Nazism didn’t die with hitler. It took another name. Statism.

We really need an app which can be used to take a pic and send it to a pre-set destination in one click.

Dropbox (a free cloud storage service) has a free app (for iphone or android) that does this. One of it's features is "Camera Upload". You can set it to automatically save any pictures you take on your phone to your cloud storage and it will sync that photo to any other device you choose to access Dropbox from. This is all done seamlessly using your phones normal camera function.

I use this service and it is fantastic. My two home computers and my two different cell phones are all linked together on my Dropbox account and any photo I take on my phone is almost instantly available to any other device. It's also great for storing other files you might want to access anywhere. I have documents, videos, photos, music and even a few installable programs saved to my Dropbox.

Even if your phone is "confiscated" and they are savvy enough to delete any photo from your Dropbox, you can access your Dropbox from any other device and undelete it. You can also unlink that phone from Dropbox preventing them from accessing your Dropbox at all.

Here you go: www.dropbox.com.

I have had a similar idea to that. I am far too tech-ignorant to know how to set it up but here are three things I would like to see in such an app.

1. Send an e-mail alert to whoever you choose to network with.

2. Live stream any video you send on a website set up for same.

3. Store a copy of everything on a remote and secure database.

We were warned by my kids teacher (3rd grade) NOT to let him write about the BB gun he got for Christmas for this reason... it may not have gotten us a house visit but it certainly would have been noted down somewhere.

The picture at the link shows the kid didn’t have his finger in the trigger. Gun safety 101 and all that. I really don’t see the problem here, folks.

I haven't personally used it, but the Dailymotion Cloud service would seem to be a good choice for video streaming and cloud storage using your phone.

Forgot to mention Dropbox “Camera Upload” will do videos as well. Just not streaming. :)

Excellent! Thank you. I don’t even have a cell phone that takes pics much less video nor do I have a video camera with WiFi capability but those links are bookmarked for future possibilities. Others may be able to make immediate use of that software.

I said “I don’t know”, she looked miffed. One of the other cops smiled and nodded.

Spend $100 and get a lawyer on retainer and his number on your phone contacts.
