Gen. James Mattis, known to his troops as “Mad Dog Mattis,” is retiring after 41 years of military service.
The Marine Corps Times is calling Mattis the “most revered Marine in a generation.”
Mattis has been commander of the United States Central Command since 2010 and led the 1st Marine Division into Iraq in 2003.
According to reports, President Barack Obama decided to force the Marine Corps legend out early because he rubbed civilian officials the wrong way, and forced them to answer tough questions regarding Iran.
Mattis was an inspirational leader of men and his powerful words will go down in history.
Here are some of the best words that the “Mad Dog” has had to offer:
1. “I don’t lose any sleep at night over the potential for failure. I cannot even spell the word.”
2. “The first time you blow someone away is not an insignificant event. That said, there are some assholes in the world that just need to be shot.”
3. “I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all.”
4. “Find the enemy that wants to end this experiment (in American democracy) and kill every one of them until they’re so sick of the killing that they leave us and our freedoms intact.”

He just “retired”.
Seems like all the good Generals are being forced out and replaced by yes men.
I prefer to take the long view, and look at the Obama aberration as a temporary condition of insanity. The good warriors will be back.
I would submit that they’re not just “yes men,” they’re butt kissers with no spine, no guts, no gonads like the hacks in this Regime and in Congress. We can agree that they’re all a national disgrace. The Regime and Congress aren’t worthy of kissing this patriot General’s boots after he walks in the sewers of the world.
I’m sure you can hear rumbling thunder in Arlington as our patriots roll in their graves at the actions of the occupant of our WH and this Congress. God help us all!

Apparently mac cristal, who said we don’t need those weapons of war on America’s streets, doesn’t. Gen mac seems to have become, like a lot of general officers, a radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbag who doesn’t care about the oath he took. He and mark kelley-giffords have something in common. A desire to disarm law abiding citizens of the means to hunt, defend their homes and the country should the need arise. Better to have it and never need it than to need it and not be allowed have it.
I would like to agree with you, but I cannot. Despite the greatest fantasies that Hollywood can provide as cover, brutal shock awaits a military power that equates women to fighting men, and homosexuals to heterosexuals. Today's American warriors are being gelding by pervasive political correctness, and the uncooperative stallions like Jim Mattis and Carter Ham are being chased out of the services. It will take a few more years, but the decline is underway, and will steepen.
The planned destruction of America is based upon the systematic hollowing of its foundational institutions - and that is now happening right before our eyes. Even centuries-old definitions are up for grabs. As Rush Limbaugh recently remarked, America is now governed by mob rule. This is how the Brownshirts turned a chancellor into a dictator.

I don’t think that will happen. Why declare martial law when you can just win elections and your party keeps power? It would wake people up. Better to keep the people fat, dumb, and happy.

I believe the order is over five years and that it is a ceiling level we’re talking about. As in “up to X amount of bullets”.
You and I just disagree on what will happen. There is no point to start violence when you already have complete control.
I realize it may be a while before we see a full resurgence of the innate spirit of this country, but America cannot be killed by the Commies infesting our government today.

I heartily agree! That one quote nearly made me choke up when I read it. That's exactly the kind of spirit that America is desperate for today.
