In a few more years, it’s going to be very hard to find a place that’s not under video observation anywhere in any city.
Enterprising individuals will be able to send small video UAVs out at a moment’s notice.
Short of forcing the registration and licensing of every camera, I don’t see how they can get around this.
The LEOs are going to have to learn to live with constant surveillance. Just like the rest of us.
There is one key word in the story that should make the reverends al and jessee take notice. And it’s not “innocent.”
They need to put these cops in jail for this crap. If we did that to someone videoing us we’d go to jail.
I think I just found my retirement plan. Go out and video police. If I survive I should be able to sue for my retirement.
I really need a new car and have some bills to pay; which MA police station would I need to drive to for pepper spraying? I’ll supply the video recorder and attorney.
Thug cops that need an ass wuppin.
I think its good that cops are being video taped and I don’t think it should be restricted, but as a nation, we have to grow up and be more mature about what we see on some of these tapes. In some cases, the cops go too far, but in other cases, hitting the alleged criminal or beating him down, or several cops taking him down, is what is required. Cops using more force than necessary can be appropriate too to reduce the risk of cops getting hurt. There are no easy answers and cops do overreact at times, but not every recording of a cop hitting someone or a group of cops taking someone down is evidence of abuse.

Sooner or later these thugcops are going to screw with the wrong person.
What I take from this is, right or wrong, if some angry cops tell me to walk away I am gone baby. My momma didn’t raise no fool. If you want to vieeo cops that’s what telephoto lens are for.
He is lucky.
The cops in Massachusetts are real killers.
Well, good thing only the cops have guns.
(yes, sarcasm)
Good argument against tort reform. Starve the beast.
Except in Massachusetts it's illegal to video record police in action. Out of staters be warned. Don't know how they got this law passed. I'm sure this was promoted by the police unions who bought off the legislative lawyers. They used the pretense that it interfered with police opeerations. Law needs to be struck down as it's based on a faulty premis. It's obvious tha tthe real reason is to eliinate evidence of misconduct.
