Heh. I liked how Rich Lowry put this on Fox News this morning, following up on his column earlier this week — how often have people who, calmly and rationally, dare to question the notion that humanity is hurtling toward a man-made, imminent, and irreversible warming catastrophe been written off as heretical “climate-deniers” who “ignore/hate science”? As The Economist‘s recent reappraisal of the climate-change issue illustrated, however, there’s now more and more data piling up that the earth’s temperature has actually been pretty much stable over the past decade or so, despite the gobs of greenhouse gases we’ve been continuously adding to the atmosphere. All of the old favorite climate models are perilously close to completely falling apart, since it turns out that the planet might not be quite as sensitive to carbon emissions as they projected, and it appears that the scaremongers and doomsayers’ continuing insistence that we must put a halt on our economic activity to combat the problem makes them the real climate deniers and science haters. Oh, how the tables have turned!
None of this is to necessarily say that climate change is not an issue with which we should be concerned, but rather that the fact that all of that oh-so-very “settled science” actually isn’t settled science suggests that some of the determined alarm-peddlers just might have had ulterior motives in mind, hem hem.

It’s not global warming. It’s ‘climate change’ which is so ambiguous, whatever happens, we can blame it on evil industry.
Well ever since they killed beach fires and fireworks in Seattle no wonder ....
There are few things sadder than the “climate denier.” He ignores the data and neglects the latest science. His rhetoric and policy proposals are dangerously disconnected from reality. He can’t recalibrate to take account of the latest evidence because, well, he’s a denier.
The grant-grabbers who pose as “scientists” will have real egg on their snouts when it becomes painfully obvious that they’ve been dead wrong and global cooling has begun.
Climate cycles have repeated throughout history. These frauds wanted cash to fund their phony research and enlisted the hyperventilating Leftist media to sound their false alarm. The real losers are our children who were fed this pack of lies at schools across the country, making some of them hopeless and suicidal.

Just saw a news story on TV where the govenrment is funding and setting up massive machiens in them ountains over cities that ‘see the carbon footprint beign spewed into the air” (apparently they’ve ivnented a way of viewign specifically the CO2) and they claiemd it wass ‘just for research purposes’ but you mark me words- these stations are goign up so that they can monitor how much CO2 a particular citie puts out so they can FINE THEM in the very near future- Evidence of cooling be damned- facts don’t matter to the left anymore- they smell a golden goose and they are goign after it with everyuhtign they’ve got and consitutional laws be damned as well- They no logner even care about PROVING the earth is warming- they are now concentrating solely on ‘viewing CO2” and making the asinine unsupported connection between CO2 and Warming (whcih is no logner happening)
It’s all about feeding the needs of the Government for $$$$.
The reason the “incline” has pooped out is very easy to explain.
It’s because the leftist that are doing the data collection have reached the limits of fudging the data that can be accomplished while still keeping a straight face.
If you’ve ever seen how “official temperature” data is collected, you’ve seen that it’s full of opportunities to fudge the data in any direction you want, but after a couple of degrees F, you run out of fudging space.
I’ve seen “official” temperature report in the Phoenix Metro area that have differed by as much as 9F on days where there was NO front system at all moving through. There aren’t any microclimates in the VAlley of the Sun, so either the data collectors are wildly incompetent or they’re fudging the data and since the trend is always hotter, odds are they’re fudging the data.
But at this point, they’ve fudged it as far as they can without it being blatently fake. So the incline has leveled off.
Nah, they’ll still find a way to blame this on Bush.
My theory is that global warming has stopped because of solar panels. These panels have robbed the sun of its heat. The sun is running out of gas. Meanwhile, windmills are slowly blowing the sun further away from the earth.
Do not laugh at me. My theory is as good as the global warming hoax. Time for our side to fight with something as stupid.
You should apply for a few billion dollars from the government to study your theory.
Can you find me a Global Cooler that claims a cooling Earth will cause higher temps and less snow ?
