Governor Palin to CNN: American Viewers are Smarter Than You Assume
Conservatives4Palin ^ | April 7, 2013 | Stacy Drake

Late last night, I made reference to a tweet Governor Palin sent out with a link to last week’s Tony Lee article taking on John Avlon. Somehow I missed the fat that the Governor also posted a note to Facebook on the matter. I apologize.

Via Facebook:

CNN: it’s no wonder your ratings still aren’t matching competitors. American viewers are smarter than you assume, and we simply want truth in reporting.

Please see the article linked below. Wolf Blitzer’s recent coverage of this story really was blisteringly dishonest. First, because he didn’t reach out to me or the SarahPAC staff for rebuttal. Second, because he failed to disclose the anti-tea party associations of the “architect” of this story whose organization is a competitor of my efforts to advance the candidacies of genuine grassroots conservatives – not those handpicked by the permanent political class. As the article explains, in my recent CPAC speech I gulped and denounced the consultants who engage in campaign hopping and have made a racket out of multi-million dollar failures each election cycle for themselves and their cronies. What a shame CNN continues to plug away in a floundering direction with reports like this. The shame is that they employ some top-notch reporters who no doubt believe in truth in journalism, but examples like this diminish the good reporters’ good efforts.

As a side note, I find it interesting that CNN recently disclosed that their old “Crossfire” show might hit their airwaves again. Wasn’t CNN among those who issued blistering criticism about the use of a “crossfire” icon in 2010 to represent political districts we wished to see represented by commonsense conservatives? CNN, among others, implied that using a “crossfire” icon (which was a tactic first employed by Democrats to illustrate political maps of districts they “targeted” to win) was inciting violence.

Stealing the election by padding the votes. There is no way to recount the votes and ascertain the legality of the voter to vote.

We sat and watched and in my opinion it is for the second time with the current winner via nefarious means..

A few know this. Bret Bart, etc.

You would be correct Mr. K.

They are called "Useful Idiots"

Not like they care, OH! Wesley Snipes is out of jail! That is what is important.

No, I’m aware that the election was stolen. You’ll note that I made a tangential acknowledgement of that in my responses.

Agree. I would like to think she’s right but the recent elections have shown that they are pretty stupid.

If American Viewers are all that smart, why is the Senate still controlled by Hairy Reed, why did the ‘Pubbies lose ground in the House and why is zero still occupying the golf cours . . . . . . er, the White House?

You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, the saying goes. But eventually the truth comes out, hence you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

The democratic process allows people to make mistakes, but it also allows them to be corrected (or at least, corrected for) later.

Yep, reminds me of Margaret Thatcher in that regard, funny how the media hated the Iron Lady too.

20 years ago that was true. Not so much today. The way that Congress writes legislation, just changing faces doesn't change the policies.

Today, we are the America that Ayn Rand memorialized in Atlas Shrugged. Corrupt politicians, union thugs and a nation that is broke and no longer values innovation, ethics, or hard work. We are at the point that, to correct all of the ills of our country, will take a revolution and reversion to the Constitution as the Founders envisioned America.

Since that's pretty unlikely in the foreseeable future because we lack the passion for freedom and liberty and still believe we can fix everything at the ballot box, get used to being a third-rate nation whose future is highly limited as the result of the overwhelming debt our political elites have enslaved us to pay off.
