Several hours of whiteout conditions, combined with temperatures plunging into the teens and wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph will make for dangerous travel conditions.

I wish all the forces that entire storm would unload on Denver. The libs in that city, for what they’re doing to a once-great state, need to be made to suffer for it.

According to the druids, cold weather is now the result of man made global warming and you people will have to pay. Do I have that right?

I drove through the thing last night. Enough rain to fill the grooves in the roads and enough snow to blind you. Best of luck to all downwind.

I am sure it is just one of those late spring storms, temp about 25 just enough to make lots of good old wet snow. Let it snow we need the water into Hover Dam,it will all be gone in a few days.

NW Kansas is gonna get some thunderous thunderstorms out of this mixup between nice wet Gulf Air flow and this Cod Front....Tornadoes sE ofthe snow line....

Snow needs to be further south for kick starting the winter wheat growth.

I was sitting here remember growing up in NW Kansas and hunkering down as the storms rolled thru.

Busting snowdrifts in the automobiles was great fun!

I wrote a Dear John letter to old man Winter and told him not to come back, please, no more, or at least in 9 more months.
The younger folk don't realize that older folks are effected by the cold weather.
Don't know what it is, but ? this past winter made my bones and body feel like it's dead, not a good feeling at all.
Maybe I need some more sun light with vitimin D.

Of course man caused global warming is the reason for colder than normal temperatures and April snow storms. George Orwell coined the word for this, "doublethink", simultaneously holding two contradictory ideas in your head and sincerely believing both of them. " Busting snowdrifts in the automobiles was great fun! "

Not until you find out that there is a steel gaurd rail inside the snow drift.
Or concrete wall.

If you grow up with well below freezing,...you learn how to cope with it....and how to prepare.

You pack you swimming gear away when the frost comes out and get it out in June or July.

I don't know. Sometimes they are wrong about the degree of the storm that's for sure, but it could very well be 60's here one day and a blizzard the next. That's the way Colorado swings sometimes.

LOL back in the late 70s I had that experience.
I was sliding wide on a curve and into the ditch but I had a lot of momentum and the rf wheel grabbed on the culvert pipe under a driveway.

Needless to say that was the end of a rusty Vega.
