Sorry, but I have to disagree. Boston is the town that cowered under their tables all damn week. The Boston of 2013 is nothing like the Boston of 1776. I am ashamed of the Boston of 2013

The same Boston full of Tory collaborators who welcomed the British Occupation?

The same Boston that sent money and support to the Irish Republican Army?

The same Boston that gave sweetheart land deals to Muslim front groups?

The same Boston that gave America the likes of Ted Kennedy, Barney Frank and John F’n Kerry?

THAT Boston?

Spot on! I have learned a few things this week and one of them is the good people of Boston are built of some very strong stuff.

That spontaneous chanting of USA, USA after #2 was captured brought it all home for me.

Colbert hit it on this one.

Also point out that Boston is where the Boondock Saints lived.

From the two posts above mine I see that I should stand corrected. Lol.

Seemed to me there were a large number of Bostonians who were on the mark the other night. Let’s hope the numbers swell.

That was pretty awesome. Everyone running out of their homes cheering the police after voluntarily getting out of their way during the manhunt.

Didn't the Boston also ban (or try to ban)Chick-fil-A from opening a franchise?

Boston also led the US into Gay Marriage...starting with Barney Frank. It’s no surprise why the terrorists chose to hit there.

That spontaneous chanting of USA, USA after #2 was captured brought it all home for me.

.....and yet there are schools in this country who prohibit students from chanting "USA!, USA!" because it might offend somebody.

“Boondock Saints” was a movie.

It starred Norman Reedus, who is now the popular character on “The Walking Dead”.

Reedus did PSA’s against guns that aired during the last TWD season.

Years ago, I spent a week in Boston. Dated a girl who went to school there. Didn’t like it. The people were rude.
Visited the Berklee College of Music. Glad I didn’t go there.

Somehow I get the feeling that the FBI has morphed into a politically correct social outreach arm of the fedgov.

I hope that’s not insulting to the remaining competent employees still there.

That’s good!

That language was mild compared to this (below) by designated hitter David Ortiz at the Red Sox game yesterday. The F word was NOT necessary to get his point across. No class!

‘All right, Boston,’ said Ortiz. ‘This jersey that we wear today, it doesn’t say Red Sox. It says Boston.

He continued: ‘We want to thank you, Mayor Menino, Governor Patrick, the whole police department for the great job they did this past week. This is our f***ing city, and nobody is going to dictate our freedom. Stay strong.’

Boston is also the city that had riots against forced bussing because they didn’t want their kids going to school with black kids, and they say the South is racist. Not that I agree with forced bussing, but it did show the hypocrisy of Northerners towards the South.

Boston is a town of unmitigated elitists and salt of the earth patriotic believers. Elitists are in large enough numbers due to the plethora of colleges and Universities to be able to pretty effectively intimidate average Bostonians. You can bet, however, not one college professor was among those who cheered the police.
