Looser dogs.
I hear pit bulls are such nice dogs, but all the dog attack stories involve pit bulls.
What would you do?
Say, oh but they are such good dogs, it doesn’t matter they are attacking me.......
Yah know... it's tough enough to keep your head about you when under stress. That's some good situational awareness by the homeowner/shooter.
All she saw were pit bulls and pit bull mixes when she was looking for a little yapping lapdog.
They seem to be overpopulating dog pounds all over the country.
Somebody is letting their unspayed and unneutered pit bulls out to run around impregnating anything it can.
Breed of peace!
Pit bulls or the even more vicious ‘Pit Chihuahuas” ~ http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:udWk_z89FdE2xM:http://www.los-angeles-injury-lawyer-blog.com/Dog_attack2.jpg ~ kinda like that, going for my ankles
Poor doggies.
It’s not their fault, its how they are raised.
Shoot Pit Bull owners, not the dogs.
Sounds like a good shoot, and good marksmanship.
Its not how they are raised, its how they were bred.
No, its the breed period.....you can no more stop a pit bull being vicious any more than you can stop my German Shorthairs from pointing a bird...............more matter how they are raised or trained my pointers will point........pits will attack.....
Good cat owners!
So friendly looking!
There’s a little give and take; while pit bulls were raised to be more aggressive (or defensive?) dogs, they’re not tremendously worse than any other breed in that regard.
However, how they’re raised has a huge influence on how a dog develops. When someone wants to buy a “mean guard dog”, guess what they buy?
It’s like how sports cars and hummers are the most likely vehicles to get speeding tickets - the vehicles aren’t prone to speeding, it’s about the buyer.
But cops are allowed to open fire on crowded streets, apparently the more shots fired the better, right next to the Empire State Building, wounding nine innocent bystanders, no problemo.
It’s not only how they were raised.
We had a sweet lady in this community who raised her pitt bull well, never had any history of violence.
It bit and shook her infant baby to death.
My boarder collie will never swim in icy water as well as my labrador retriever, no matter how well trained.
