Katrina Tisdale had second thoughts after giving her last $50 to a drug dealer Monday night. So she did what many people do when in trouble: called 911.
Tisdale took this step before. In July 2011, when a similar thing happened, she called 911. That got her a trip to jail. The same thing happened this time.
After she called 911 twice about a theft, officers met with the 47-year-old about 9:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Fourth Street N. Tisdale demanded police get her money back, authorities said.
Tisdale was upset, police said, because she was broke until she got her next social security disability check. She told officers she gave the dealer the money for marijuana and cocaine.
Police arrested Tisdale on a charge of misusing the 911 system. She was in the Pinellas County Jail on Tuesday night in lieu of $100 bail. Records show Tisdale pleaded no contest to reporting a false crime for the 2011 incident. She was given jail time and fines for that.
Way, way left on the IQ bell curve.
Thanks for not posting her pic..... I already knew.
And maybe she can get her stupid-ass card punched too.
Room temperature IQ-and a cool room, at that...
Not bright, but the woman is in jail, while the dealer is on the streets.
Sounds like the cops don't want to keep her around either.
Now, would they at least go pay a visit to the dealer, or is that too dangerous for Tampa cops?
I saw this happen on an episode of Cops! This white chick had given twenty bucks to a black chick to get her some crack. The black chick said she couldn’t find any crack and kept the money according to the white girl. So, the white girl called the cops. They didn’t arrest her but when they confronted the black chick, she, of course, denied getting any money; she did say the white chick did ask her if she knew where to get any crack.
There were allegation of racism thrown around but really, when you call the cops to get money back from a drug deal, not too smart.
They didn’t arrest anyone.
I saw something similar on an episode of “Cops”. Some strung out white broad gave twenty bucks to a hood rat and got taken, so she called the police. The officer told her to go home with a lesson learned.
Obama voter?
This is St. Pete. Tampa’s across the Bay.
Obama voter?
You may rest assured.
We see him reflected in the attitudes and behavior of his constituency.
