How does a person who is not overweight write about her lifelong obsession with overeating without sounding like a narcissistic, woe-is-me skinny girl with an overinflated image of herself, particularly to those who share her obsession with food but happen to be overweight, or even obese?
I can report back to you that the answer to my question was almost unanimous: you can’t. No matter what you say or how you say it, you’re going to sound like a privileged skinny bitch with food issues. Oh yeah, and a TV show. And a woman who was born into a wonderful, prominent family and has a blessed life.
That's it...I can't take anymore...my eyes are still bleeding from her free publicity segment on Morning Joe this morning. Argggggghhhhhhhhh!

I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes around Halloween last year. My doctor strongly recommended I follow Dr. Fuhrman's program. After 3 months, I was removed from my prescription for metformin, as my H1B dropped from 11 to 4.6. I've also dropped over 30 pounds, and am much more regimented in my exercise routine (primarily walking - yesterday I walked 7 miles @ 16 min per mile).
If Mika followed "Eat to Live", she wouldn't have any obsession for food. I've never eaten more in my life: my dinner last night was a salad in a 2 quart bowl, and a pound of steamed asparagus. Dessert was a bowl of frozen berries. My beverage of choice is usually Ozarka bottled water.
There's no calorie counting, no special menu that I follow.
Maybe Mika wouldn't be so hyper if she cut down on her caffeine intake. Amazing hypocrisy when she's a food Nazi, while one of her major sponsors is Starbucks.
Dr. Fuhrman's program is worth taking a look at. It has to be more effective than whatever Mika is dishing out.

I think a lot of libbies have body image issues which causes them to become almost tyrannical about dealing with people who don’t fit into their “ideal” when it comes to body shapes.
This is how they think:
How dare someone be fat and happy if I “think” I am fat (even when I am not) and I am constantly unhappy about it......
I also noticed that Mika only talks about eating/diets with white women. The air she breathes is rarified in the bubble she lives in.
I think the problem goes deeper than food.
She was born May 2, 1967 which makes her 46. Sounds to me like the hag needs validation. Mid-life crisis is such an ugly thing in liberal women.
All they have left in life is multiple facelifts until their eyebrows are in their hairlines and so much botox you can embalm a 500 man.

For all the talk to my kids about taking responsibility for your life, it would have been hypocritical for me to blame anyone but myself.

Mika is a celebrity in her own mind. She got the job because of daddy, not because of anything she’s accomplished. She is a sad reflection of what the liberals have become..... useful tools.
Food intake is part of their religion. You can see she is bragging about her vegan diet like a good liberal. It is one of the tenets of the cult.
