I was thinking about this fat epidemic just the other day. I remember 20 and 30+ years ago; there simply weren't grossly fat people everywhere I looked. Of course, there was always a fat person every now and then, but not everywhere all the time.
Look around now. Go into a Wal Mart, for example, and take a look around. It seems that at least half the population is grossly FAT these days.
It's even on TV commercials. The characters on TV commercials are 30 or more pounds overweight these days. You just didn't see that kind of thing, just 10 years ago.
We've become a nation of fat dumbasses.

I hope A&F goes out of business... for their semi-pornographic catalogues.

Yes but be sure and sue the bakers who don’t wish to bake a cake for the homosexual wedding. Scream to the rooftops for the homosexuals but those ugly fat people...well, we can’t have THAT.

So...fuller figured people are distraught because they can't give their money to an organization that says it has no use for them.
Do I have that right?

BBWs can go to Wal Mart no sizes under 10.

Our stores go past size 10 because we like to make money. Strangely enough, young, thin girls don’t have much. :)

I’ve always felt A&F has some of the oogliest damned clothes around. Even if their prices weren’t outrageous, I wouldn’t buy their stuff.
BTW, am I right to guess the CEO is of the “alternative lifestyle”? Because he sure sounds like it from his comments.

boo freaking hoo... the lardasses can go shop somewhere else; a business is making a strategic decision and it will live or die by it.

What truth? Size 10 isn't hot, it's school-boy skinny - the kind of thing this guy who runs Abercrombie & Fitch goes for. It's his right to market clothes to whoever he pleases, and I support that, but all the fat bashers who reflexively applaud this guy should realize that he'd probably consider you too fat for his store, too. Oh, and he wouldn't want anyone of any size who posts here shopping at his stores.

What a prize a$$hole this creature is.
Young girls are tortured by unrealistic standards of feminine beauty that they can't hope to achieve. It makes me sick.
Boys face a similar pain when they believe that only great financial success can make them worthy of love.
The world would be a happier place if these sick ideas could be abandoned.

You would think a retailer would get rich focusing on larger size clothing. I wonder why nobody has come up with a successful business model yet for a clothing chain that caters exclusively to fat people.
By the way, I'm totally serious. There is a huge untapped market out there for stylish clothing that can be worn by fat people.
