Back in the days when we had an economy and the living was almost easy, when I was hunting and shooting and building rifles, and still had some color in my beard, I would not have considered not having a Dixie Gun Works catalog around.
Almost 700 pages, everything from tomahawks and gunlocks to snake oil. There are tools, gun flints and chunks of wood for fancy knife handles.
Well, the other day I ordered myself another one.
5 bucks, and for another 2 bucks they ship it UPS!
You can read a Dixie catalog for hours, even if you don't need any gun flints right now.
If Chuckie Schumer ever sees one of these his head will explode!
It's bigger than these pictures, about like an old Sears catalog.

With a baffle axis large enough for 9x18/9mm, all that is needed to adapt the suppressor to smaller calibers is a set of exit end screw on constricters, to achieve max pressure constriction.
Cool...A bayonet with a gun on the end of it...
We used to get those regularly. I’d drive to their store every now and then just to drool. I remember they used to carry McClellen cavalry saddles that they had discovered in a warehouse and Hotchkiss mountain cannons. Those were the days. If I’d been smart I’d have bought as many of those saddles as I could.
They still have cannons.
Awesome ..... Orders in !
Completed the project this evening. Works like a charm. Now when I get that 9mm suppressor, I can use it on a the CZ 82 also! Tested the extension in the garage. No problems ... tolerances were tight though.
That’s fascinating! Thanks for posting. How was the adapter attached to the end of the barrel?
The adapter is a 1/2 x 20 female thread to 1/2 x 28 male thread ... it is screwed onto the barrel and can be screwed off when not in use. I threaded the barrel in 1/2 x 20, to recieve the adapter, then ground down the adapter to fit through the opening in the slide and into the spring which cycles the slide.
Didn’t have to. I have a nice tap and die set. Using a barrel alignment insert is the key to getting a straight threading. BTW, that metal in the CZ barrels is very hard!
