Is it possible that the Family Court System in Arizona and perhaps across the nation is broken? Lawyers get Judges involved who cannot or will not make a decision, who in turn appoint a Parenting coordinator, who brings in many other "professionals" to evaluate a small child. Then a Best Interest Attorney is also brought in and MORE evaluations begin. Money, money, money and a system that consumes your entire life and drains your bank accounts.

Are there any suggestiions on how to end the nightmare that comes with Family Court appointed professionals who are supposed to keep the child's best interest in mind, but who perpetuate the case and their involvement for months on end for monitary reasons only with no end in sight? When they discover that the two parties have money, there are tens of thousands of dollars charged, no progress made. The Parenting Coordinator demands very high hourly rates, demands to be paid in advance in cash only and uses manipulative statements that keep the case going on and on.

What can be done to end the nightmare? Any suggestions?

Put your assets in a family trust and plead poverty.

YES... it started out to be an amicable divorce but since the on Mother in Law has made it her life’s goal to bankrupt the x-son in law and wants him completely out of the picture, it’s turned into a nightmare.

Oh are you barking up my alley. My experience is HORRIBLE. The gravy train of “parenting coordinators” “custody evaluators”. It’s a disgrace.

Standard Orders out of Court state that if you don’t or can’t pay 1/2 for the gravy train of 300 dollar/visit plus retainer Court approved evaluators, you lose custody and/or parenting time.

Intersting thought. There is a small business involved so would have to investigate the options there. Might be a very good suggestion. He’s relatively young and many earning years ahead of him.

The original divorce went quickly, splitting the childs time (baby at the time) ramping up to 50/50 after a couple of years. But now, the meddling mother in law is pushing buttons and now has all these “professionals” involved under false alligations. Same old, same old.... If I had to bet I’d say she has possible “spoken” privately to some of the so called independant professionals on the side.

Ohhhhh YESSSSSSSS.... exactly the case here, however somehow it’s now nearly 75% one sided payment. How did you get out of the situation or are you still IN this nightmare system?

Almost out. Sent you a Freepmail. Family Court is abominable and the Judge I had was AWFUL. Doesn’t matter how little you can afford, nor whom triggers the “Parenting Coordinator” or “Custodyl Evals”. Parents can abuse the other by the Court process and demanding “Evals” for no reason. The attorneys are also GREAT at ratcheting up the number of hearings and fees.

Remarry the mother - put in 15-good years for the sake of the child.

Now that’s a good one...... In some cases... it works, I’ll bet.

Family Courts.

*hoccc ptui1*

These are Divorce Courts. Pure and simple. They are designed to deball men, enrich the lawyers and churn out children with no hope - no future.

A better alternative? Kill your ex. You’ll get out in 10 years. Yeah, your relationship with the kids will be severed. But that’s a given no matter what. Being a convicted murderer or a screwed over divorced dad. Which is better?

Talk to millions of men who’ve been screwed by divorce courts and they’ll tell you. Don’t fight the system - you will only lose harder and faster.

A friend of a friend quietly did that when divorce appeared to be in the cards, the house they were living in was the old family homeplace that had belonged to his family and he had a sole proprietorship incorporated under subchapter S, an “S Corp.” She had racked up a lot of debt already for which he was on the hook, so he was determined that those assets weren’t going to be frittered away too.

This was over a year before the fact and there were no children, though. Family court sends even amicable splits down the road to negativeland, it’s fundamentally hostile to fathers.

I decided to stay married until the oldest was 18, youngest was 16. He was an okay father and, since they were also his children, chose not to try to raise them by myself.

It’s not like it was a lifetime anyway. Both kids were gone while we were still in our early 40’s. Plenty of time to have our own separate lives after that.

Yeah, feminist organizations and bar associations did that decades ago with the blessing of most people active in politics in both political parties. More recently, we’ve been awaiting the economic collapse caused by them and their policies.

Feminists made it awful for those of us that chose to stay-home full-time to raise our kids. My ex had the job, had the money, my Judge was a career woman whom apparently thought she had to have gonads and put me through the ringer. Family Court is a gravy train for everyone but the parties involved.
