Netflix has “The Ox-Bow Incident” on DVD. I never watched this acclaimed movie until I previewed it for this posting. I’m glad I did. From what I have seen so far of 1943 movies “The Ox-Bow Incident” deserved its best picture nomination – HJS.

The Ox-Bow Incident is one of Henry Fonda's best.

I have always believed this to be a good movie; however, if its hidden intent was to change my opinion on the exercise of the death penalty it didn’t work.
