Maybe she could have made a big show of exposing to breast feed (both sides), and distracted the diaper changing???

I'm not sure - is it OK for me to relieve myself in your food in the restaurant doesn't provide a washroom?

What Difference Does It Make?

Exactly! I swear it’s not that hard. You do NOT change any diaper in an eating area, especially a public eating space.

I'm a little surprised it's Starbucks.

You'd think they would for sure have a changing table in both bathrooms.

Sorry - I come down on the family's side. This is the 21st century.

Yes but not where folks are eating. This is where car culture helps. Use the car.

Don't you mean minivan? Most mothers with vans have learned that lifting the hatchback and using the cargo floor is a very good emergency changing area.

Agreed NEVER in a restaurant.

Take the kid to your car and do it there.

No. Find a room somewhere and take care of it. For everyone’s safety and no misunderstandings between idiot observers and parents.

No

Starbucks? Remember Starbucks? The great and wonderful lib place that serves overpriced tar? The company who likes to shout from the roof tops about how good it is to be all things lib?

And they don't have changing tables in both bathrooms?

Completely agree....there is always someplace to go, if mom is willing to do so.

My guess is, likely being a liberal, she wanted to see if someone would challenge her so she could start something.

I don’t ever remember a time when I had to do an emergency diaper change.

You can always wait 10 minutes. That might not get you home, but it would get you out of a public eatery.

I don’t think it’s wrong to change a diaper “in public”, but not on a table that people will eat at. That is disgusting both ways — for the people eating, and for the baby put on a dirty table with germs from dozens of people who were eating.

Take it outside. Change them in your stroller, or the car carrier. Or on a bench, because if you are out with the kid, you certainly weren’t stupid enough NOT to bring a blanket to use.

Some things may not be illegal, but in a civil society people would be respectful of others. But we have an entire generation that doesn’t even understand respect, a minority community which largely thinks respect is a one-way street, and a president who teaches the bottom-feeders that they have a right to do whatever they want.

I feel REALLY sad for those kids. That 5-year old boy obviously already has issues.

With a pre-crawler on a changing pad on my lap while sitting in a booth? Been there done that. Have new dipe open and ready, have wipes in hand, wipe down as old peepeed (no way I’d do this with poop) dipe peels off in rolling motion. Wipes get rolled into contained peepeed dipe in one motion, meaning nothing is exposed/touched. New pre opened dipe slapped on, old dipe in diaper bag to be disposed of outside. With a grandparent sitting on the outside of the booth, nobody even knows it happened. If you read about the amount if contaminants allowed into prepared food, changing a dipe in a manner that exposes no urine to anyone/anything is child’s play, no pun intended.

Starbucks employees ended up calling the cops.

The Starbucks employee must be a big baby... dumping his coffee on the floor and tell her to clean it up!

What a moron!!

Only a truely disgusting pig would change a poopy diaper in an eating area. Go to the car or the restroom.
