A maths teacher bearing a striking resemblance to Breaking Bads bald-headed drug kingpin Walter White has been arrested in Boston for drug trafficking after being found with two bags of methamphetamine.
Stephen Dorans similarities to the protagonist of the popular AMC show are staggering, with the man working as a high school maths teacher (Walt teaches chemistry) and undergoing treatment for stage three cancer (as does Walt throughout the show).
The 57-year-old has been charged by police after being caught with almost a kilo of methamphetamine which he sent to his school in suburban Boston in heat-sealed bags via US Postal Service.
Bryan Cranston has won three consecutive Emmys for his portrayal of Walter White in Breaking Bad (Picture: Netflix) Digital scales, $10,000 in cash and other items police say are consistent with drug distribution were found alongside the meth at Mr Dorans home.
Breaking Bad tells the story of a chemistry teacher who is driven to manufacturing crystal meth in order to support his family after he is diagnosed with cancer, with Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) rising from a low-level cook to a major drug kingpin.
The series returns for its final eight episodes in August with fans desperate to find out if Walt suffers the same fate as Mr Doran.
Metro discussed the shows finale at length with creator Vince Gilligan, who promised a conclusive ending.
Wow that’s just like that show where a foreign born mulatto comes into the US as a foreign exchange student and becomes President! Oh wait, that’s not a show...
Oh, it’s a show.....a horror show.
Do you really go around calling people mulatto? What are you Foghorn Leghorn? Welcome to the 20th century.
480g is almost a kilo? Someone needs some math lessons.
I'm guessing they meant to say 'pound' but journalists and editors are so #%$^&^% stupid, unprofessional, and intellectually uncurious these days, it just slipped right through.
Hey! They went to school for journalism because they had no clue in math.
Halfracan American works.....
Breaking Bad Ping
LMAO Good one.
Sol is getting his own spinoff.. It should be wonderfully slimy.
A friend of mine is a Mulatto and that’s what he calls himself. Since he wasn’t black enough in high school, he got picked on by other blacks. Now he hates other blacks. Weird huh?
It works...since everything about this man is race why not call it what it is?
Oh yeah???? Let’s compare his body count to Heisenbergs.
Sol is a hoot. If there was to be a Breaking Bad spinoff, he’d be the best.
What the heck is that, and what does Walt plan on doing with it?
He's not wellit's "medical-methamphetamine".
He is getting a spinoff. Tentatively titled “Call Sol”.
I’m sure he’s “just trying to feed his family.” That’s always the excuse.
M60 GP machine gun. Have fun to the second question
I can't wait for the last episodes to start.
I would like to shoot one. That would be fun for me. Of course my targets would be different than his
It would kind of expensive to shoot a .308 machine gun right now. It would be fun though, if you didn’t have to pay for the ammo.
“Better call Saul!”
Thanks for the correction. I hope they launch it.
Where did you hear that? Lol. Love sol.
Sometimes you don’t need a criminal lawyer... You need a “criminal” lawyer. LOL ...classic
I don't know but I give it 50/50 it might be used on his sister in law's husband Hank.
Walt, is going to go to town on Elliot and Greymatter.
You have a problem with accuracy?
so does half-frickin’ american too
I think he might be using it on himself in a blaze of glory
he bought a bunch of guns, so he is planning something
who is he going to use them on?
I cant even begin to guess what hank might do next- rather than running to his office and tell his theory he had everythign brought to him.
I missed the trailer for next week though- anyone see it?
I think I could watch this entire show from beginning to end again
With Walt's cancer back, I expect him to go full-Hesienberg. I also think the Ricin will be for Lydia. I don't think she is going to take Walt's "no" about retiring from the cooking business.
As far as future victims, I think Saul and Jesse are now safe since Vince Gilligan has hinted that they will both get possible spinoff series. I for one would love a "Better Call Saul" show.
