Real Life Breaking Bad? Cancer-Suffering School Teacher Arrested With 480g of Crystal Meth

A maths teacher bearing a striking resemblance to Breaking Bad’s bald-headed drug kingpin Walter White has been arrested in Boston for drug trafficking after being found with two bags of methamphetamine.

Stephen Doran’s similarities to the protagonist of the popular AMC show are staggering, with the man working as a high school maths teacher (Walt teaches chemistry) and undergoing treatment for stage three cancer (as does Walt throughout the show).

The 57-year-old has been charged by police after being caught with almost a kilo of methamphetamine which he sent to his school in suburban Boston in heat-sealed bags via US Postal Service.

Bryan Cranston has won three consecutive Emmys for his portrayal of Walter White in Breaking Bad (Picture: Netflix) Digital scales, $10,000 in cash and other items police say are consistent with drug distribution were found alongside the meth at Mr Doran’s home.

Breaking Bad tells the story of a chemistry teacher who is driven to manufacturing crystal meth in order to support his family after he is diagnosed with cancer, with Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) rising from a low-level cook to a major drug kingpin.

The series returns for its final eight episodes in August with fans desperate to find out if Walt suffers the same fate as Mr Doran.

Metro discussed the show’s finale at length with creator Vince Gilligan, who promised a ‘conclusive ending’.

I’m sure he’s “just trying to feed his family.” That’s always the excuse.

Depends on your definition of fun.

I can't wait for the last episodes to start.

I would like to shoot one. That would be fun for me. Of course my targets would be different than his

It would kind of expensive to shoot a .308 machine gun right now. It would be fun though, if you didn’t have to pay for the ammo.

What the heck is that, and what does Walt plan on doing with it?

I don't know but I give it 50/50 it might be used on his sister in law's husband Hank.

I think he might be using it on himself in a blaze of glory

he bought a bunch of guns, so he is planning something

who is he going to use them on?

I cant even begin to guess what hank might do next- rather than running to his office and tell his theory he had everythign brought to him.

I missed the trailer for next week though- anyone see it?

I think I could watch this entire show from beginning to end again

Trailer was real vague. Not many clues given. I think the ball is now in Hank's court, after Walt's veiled threat, and claim that he is un-convictable (if that is a word).

With Walt's cancer back, I expect him to go full-Hesienberg. I also think the Ricin will be for Lydia. I don't think she is going to take Walt's "no" about retiring from the cooking business.

As far as future victims, I think Saul and Jesse are now safe since Vince Gilligan has hinted that they will both get possible spinoff series. I for one would love a "Better Call Saul" show.
