My BIL got some hot dogs from Omaha Steaks once. They puffed up huge when boiled. They were good too.

Sounds good!

I love Chicago dogs with extra celery salt.

Yes, its a load of salt with the Vienna dogs, but what the heck.

I also like Hatfield hot dogs (served at Phillies and Nats games).

Chili, cheese & onions are good, but I’m going to shake things up here and say the best topping is sloppy joe. Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.

Absolutely, none of this foreign communist stuff. Same, Same Lobster rolls either do it right or don't do it.

Surprised New Jersey Freepers haven't brought up the Italian Hot Dog!

We used to get these when I was a kid visiting my relatives in Jersey. They're really good, but I haven't found them anywhere outside of the state.

Mustard and diced onions, with a few Thai chilis on the side. Oh baby!

Ketchup, mustard and onions. Lots of onions.

Apparently, from the above replies, my including ketchup as part of my toppings of choice will put me in low esteem on this thread.

“They puffed up huge when boiled.”

I don’t boil hot dogs - I put them in a skillet to get them sort of browned and hot. And, I really wouldn’t boil the Black Angus dogs. Those dogs are juicy and fine Angus beef.
