Appointing Senators reminds me of this bit of dialog from BlackAdder, where the Prince contemplates bribing one of the Lords with a judgeship:

E: Well, you could appoint him a High Court judge...

G: Is he qualified?

E: He’s a violent, bigoted, mindless old fool.

G: Sounds a bit *over*qualified

there are only two things you bludgeoned me into watching and i enjoyed both— The Big Lebowski, and Flight of the Conchords. I follow thebotlebowski on twitter, as i am sure you must, and yesterday i literally LOLed at it, and of course wanted to retweet it or otherwise bring it to your attention, but do not want the profanity in my timeline~! “this is what happens when you F* a stranger in the @$$”. I RORed.

I haven’t yet, but I want to get that for my email ring tone.

Not the swear words, but just “Do you see what happens, Larry?! Do you see what happens!?”

Most NJ republicans are just moderate democrats anyplace else. It’s that far left up there.(Excluding Truthy and the tiger).

It sounds like George Sr. teaching his sons a lesson on AD.
And that's why we don't...

My little dog is now allowed to leave Coney Island! We’re down to meds 3 times a day instead of 5 or 6, which is a big step. He said he’s healing well, stitches haven’t dissolved yet but incisions look great. We saw a full dog show there(shih tzus, poodle mix, Maltese, Cav who looked like Loosh, golden retriever, Airdale, Westie, Boston Terriers, Corgi, wirehaired fox terrier, and a chihuahua/Chinese crested mistake named Clarence) in the waiting room today and one tortoiseshell cat in the cat room. That man is raking it in from 3 surrounding states as well.

Execpt George Sr wasn’t smashing the windows and headlights of a brand new Corvette at the time.

Dear God, Lois Lerner was at the election commission harassing conservatives before she went to the IRS.

So the fat bastard is such a fiscal conservative that he’ll waste 25 million of the tax payers money for elections in August and October.

Gee Tubby, it’s not like there wasn’t already an election in November this year, now was it.

That is wonderful! He is on his way to enjoying a full life, like a puppy should.

When I was so pleased with the playful confident turn of Midget girl’s personality after she was spayed, my vet commented that after she does surgery that makes a pet happier and more playful, she finds it hard to tell whether the pet or the human is more pleased...

I trimmed his ears up too just now and got a softball-sized mound of hair. They were too long and stayed damp at the edges because he scooped up water in the cone every time he took a drink.
