Speaking of happy pets-I stopped on the way home to get a turkey, cheese, and veggie sandwich at the deli, and grabbed one of those little packages of Special K cracker chips to go with it. After sharing bits of sandwich with Husky girl and the cats, I opened the bag of chip things.

Husky girl and Yeti boy both sniffed, made a face and went off to nap on a rug, but Titus and the now-bold Midget girl went wild, sitting on hind legs, leaning against the chair, reaching out to the bag of chips with front paws and whining-so I put some little bits on the floor, which they gobbled up.

Now, the Midget is washing her front paws over and over, trying to get the orange fake cheddar powder off of them-hilarious...

Pets make us smile when there doesn’t seem to be anything to smile about-and that is a good thing.

While I’m pretty sure it is okay for the dog and cats to eat a few tidbits of turkey, swiss cheese and whole wheat toasted bun (I ate the veggies)-all natural-I’m not so sure about those cracker chips, so I only gave the two cats a few little pieces. I think the cheddar cheese smell/flavor-real or not- attracted them-those two will also kill for Goldfish crackers...

Eating some people crackers isn’t going to harm a dog or cat.

Apparently, the cracker chips contain a few natural ingredients, since both cats that consumed them are just fine-I just don’t eat processed food unless I just really want to try a product, and don’t like to let my pets eat it-goldfish crackers have been a favorite treat for many years, though. I thought the Special K cracker chips sucked-they didn’t even taste “real”...
