A truck carrying fireworks hit a moose near Wawa, Ontario, early Friday morning, shutting down the Trans Canada Highway for five-and-a-half hours and creating an impressive fireworks display as the truck burned.

LOL! Oh man...
I see this phrase posted now and again what on earth does it mean?
Moose on the loose!
This is Hugh and Vey Series!!
My beeber got stuned too many years ago to remember!
You need to get into the WAY BACK machine for an answer to that.
Stick around Grasshopper, you will be enlightened in a few more years.
It’s part of Freeper lore. Several years ago, someone once excitedly posted something and it came out wrong, he has never lived it down.
Are mooses more flammable than deer ?
I love the smell of fireworks in the morning....
Why were those four mooses on their way to the fire?
I'm confused...
I'm surprised that story didn't get any coverage down here in the U.S. A truck carrying a load of dynamite to one of the big mines up in that area caught fire, and the driver fled as far as he could before the thing exploded. The explosion was so massive that it shut down the highway for days. It showed up on seismographs all over that part of North America, and they wouldn't even begin rebuilding the highway until they had brought in geologists to make sure there hadn't been a permanent change in the underlying geological structure of the area.
LOL
They wanted to see the fireworks.
Otherwise it would have been a scene in Christmas Vacation.
Few years back my dog and I were heading across Ontario. As we started north from the Soo there were frequent signs warning of moose. I was talking to the dog telling him we better watch out for moose while thinking to myself, ‘ Yeah right, in all my travels through the area I’ve never seen one’.
We got to the Chapleau cut-off around midnight and turned west towards Wawa. We travelled for about an half hour when suddenly a moose came out of the bush on the right and onto the road a very short distance in front of us. Frikken thing was taller than my van, with the canoe on top!
I was able to step on the brakes and avoid it but for some reason after that I couldn’t get the van going any faster than 30 mph :) Decided to pull off for the night on a side logging road and continued the trip in the morning.
This would have been great entertainment for the hitch-hikers perennially stranded in Wawa, black hole of Canadian thumbing.
You all are playing perfect straight guys to al baby...possibly intentionally. Otherwise you'll want to visit the way-back machine yourselves.
'It was unclear what the fate of the moose was.'Gee, thanks for the info. I'll warn my sister.
They wanted to go see the fireworks display, of course.
