So, the NSA is doing thier thing under the “Patriot act”.
They have got boat loads of data.
That data has value for more than national security.
The DOJ, understands their ability to request information and the value that may have.
Under the DOJ authority, the NSA complies, since they have no right to question the DOJ.

Verizon, now offering free calls to DC, Maryland and Virginia.
They can easily identify who is using one by who you call or are receiving calls from.
They do have good rates though.

Tracphone operates on the Verizon network.
That is not ENTIRELY true. Mrs. Peet’s Tracfone is on Cingular which is AT&T. The one I had but dumped was on some fly-by-night company that changes hands thre times in the two years I had the phone and provided LOUSY service.
With Tracfone it is a crapshoot what carrier you’re going to get.
