I have DirectV and had DVR'd "The Walking Dead," all eight episodes. The other day I got bored and watched them all in one sitting.
As I sat there and let the story unfold, I couldn't help but think about recent events (Benghazi, AP, IRS, NSA and probably scads of others we don't even know about – yet.) I also couldn't help from thinking about the three basic kinds of 'actors' in the series, either.
We have the Walkers (undead biters) – mindless zombies endlessly feeding on whatever is slow enough for them to catch. Then we have the "he's one of us" people – good guys just trying to work at staying alive and not taking or killing needlessly. And, finally we have the "bad guys" – not Walkers, but baaaadd! Nonetheless. They lie, cheat, steal and murder, Walkers when they 'have' to and "he's one of us" when they want to have fun. they also are apparently likely to use the Biters to their own advantage.
Now look at our country as it stands today. What's different. One need only substitute different names for the three groups.
Obama is the Governor. He uses the walkers as weapons and destroys his own people if they fail.
Actually if you think about it, Andrea was kind of like John McCain.
That’s like what I was thinking, only I’d tend to group them as Politicians based on the way they’ve all been behaving lately. And, it’s hard to miss the Walkers as really being the entitlement masses.
Maybe....she reminded me of the original “V” series. There was a hard-nosed fighter character played by Michael Ironside (gruff, tough fighter) who took to calling the series’ Silk Pony, Marc Singer, “Gooder”....his version of a bleeding heart, I wanna fix everything, do-gooder.
My only issue with the walkers as the entitlement masses is the fact that the walkers are incurable but many of the entitlement masses can be cured.
DVR’D Special Report-O’riley-Hannity-Greta and fast forward thru the commercials. O’riley guest host Monica Crowley conducted the STUPIDEST interview with a Hispanic lawyer who was just playing with her. She couldn’t get a straight/serious answer. All shows were prosecutorial-fine-but it’s just plain getting STUPID. Obama is in your face-Think the Rice appt. A bunch of pun its regurgitating the same talking points doesn’t teach us anything.
That’s exactly what i was talking about to a Tea Party leader the other day...I told her, “Look across that field, when the system collapses like it did in New Orleans, that field will be crawling with what I call the Walking Dead - entitlement junkies emptying out of their housing projects when the govt doesn’t come in a and take care of them - after they looted WalMart for all it has - they will turn and begin to hit the homes around them with people who did work - who stocked the closet with food and water.” I then added, it won’t take too long though for crossing fields of fire kill them all - besides - they are the Walking Dead - and gave nothing and can give nothing!
When you refer to”America’s Walking Dead”,are you referring to Obama voters??
