Nope, the substitutions were an artifact on the site where I got the address...
Please note, After typing in the URL, always hit “Preview” before you hit “Post”!
This way you can see if your photo will show up. If you see the photo, then it Post. If you don’t it means you did something wrong in your typing.
I love it when they are barefoot, pregnant and chained to the kitchen sink.
I think livestock get brands, not tattoos.
Branded, yes.
Depends on what type of shots the vet gives. Some will get tattooed in the ear, others on the inside of the lower lip, a brand on the horn, a notch in the ears.
We use a Mac and plenty of stamps.

those don’t look fake like most actress’s.....
I have used a site called TinyPic. You upload the picture to them from your computer, and then it’s available there for the Free Republic server to go fetch it.
You can check the dimensions of the photo and resize it if necessary before posting. They’ll give you the code to copy and paste into the thread here that will produce the picture. Use the code they call “HTML for Websites”.
If you join there for free, you’ll have your own album to store the photos for any future posting.
Please ping me when you post the new thread with the pictures :)
He's the guy in India you'll wind up talking to if you call for help about a computer problem.
***How do you keep a cow still enough to tattoo them?***
squeez shute, head restraint and and nose clamp. The vet has a pair of pliers with flat lips with needles in them. He places ink on the needles, grabs the ear or lower lip and squeezes the tattoo pliers. The cow will jump as they hate this worse than branding.
But then, some are also branded with a “B” on the left jaw. If one cow gets it, the whole herd gets it. (If you raise cattle you know the meaning.)
We do raise cattle (bucking bulls for the PBR) and I don’t know what you mean about the B. We don’t brand ours on the face. I have never seen a cow branded on the face.
I am an artist too, I paint animals, dogs, cats, cows, bulls,
calves, donkeys, chickens and a few landscapes. Your paintings are very nice. Our part of Texas is too flat and green to get me excited about painting it. :)
***and I dont know what you mean about the B.***
Brucellosis. Banged out(condemned). Branded on the left jaw, immediately sent to slaughter.
Keep painting. I would love to see them.
I have just learned how to email photos but don't know how to put them on FR.
