KUALA LUMPUR: A half-naked transvestite was found dead in his flat in Jalan Klang Lama, here, on Wednesday night. Police believe that the 25-year-old man, who worked as a promoter at a nearby shopping mall, had died from suffocation following a bondage that involved the use of a belt.
Brickfields police chief Assistant Commissioner Azlee Abdullah said the victim’s body was found by his aunt and two friends at Flat Sri Lempah about 10pm.
Azlee said the victim, who was only wearing his pyjama top and a blonde wig, was found face down on his mattress at the flat’s master bedroom.
“The victim’s friends went to the house as he did not turn up at work and could not be contacted. They found his flat grill door was locked, but its wooden door was left ajar.
“The victim’s aunt, who lives next door, then opened his house using a spare key before finding the body. Police checks also found a belt believed to be used in the murder there,” he said.
Azlee said the victim’s television and fan were left switched on while his cellular phone and wallet were missing.

there were so many S and M deaths in San Francisco awhile back that the local public health department put out pamphlets with safety tips.
That said, usually professionals don’t die...I suspect this is a “Looking for Mr.Goodbar” type murder and the guy is trying to get away with it claiming it was an accident, like the Preppie murderer did a couple years back...
I think David Caradine also died of a suffication sex thing, but without the transvestite aspect.
Don’t be so sure about that. It was pretty common knowledge that Carradine was into tranny hookers.
