He said that the wetlands are protected, and there would be no permits for construction
of the hotels without proper inspection, studies, and care of the land and wildlife.

Actually, it’s not just the two hotels. The plan also includes up to 4,000 homes, which seems like a lot for the west end of Galveston Island. The city did pass some kind of wetlands ordinance and there are probably plenty of federal & EPA laws that would pretty much stifle development as well. Has this woman never been to Port Aransas or Corpus?? High rise condos and motels everywhere — and still plenty of birdies.

We just got home from Brazoria County and there were “three nutted boogers” everywhere. The trees were full of them. These creatures are not going to be wiped out by a couple of 6 story buildings, this woman can stop crying about them.
