Coffee drinkers in Milpitas got quite a surprise Friday morning.
Police Sgt. Frank Morales said that about 7:30 a.m., a car drove right through the front doors of a Starbucks at 1197 East Calaveras Boulevard.
Remarkably, he said, none of the customers or workers inside the business were hurt and the driver of the car also wasn't hurt.
Starbucks Management rushed to the scene with a construction company to board up the business so they can make the necessary repairs.
The rest of the strip mall has been re-opened for business.
Why the driver crashed is still unclear.
Wonder what the car wanted to order so badly?
Wow!
The owner of that car should be tracked down and held responsible for allowing their car to run amok in town and crash into buildings.
That car needs a good talking too and should be held responsible.
Well at least they have a drive thru now!
Car had been seen socializing with an SUV.....
“NBC Miami”? This is in California.
That car should have it’s tires flattened until it learns how to behave.
NBC Miami? This is in California.
Yeah that was my thought too. Plus, the Starbucks isn’t on Calaveras, it is in a shopping center a block and a half away from Calaveras on a side street.
A car drove into a Panera here in Lenexa, Kansas yesterday. Two people injured.

The driver was upset that the baristas were not wearing the prescribed Birkenstocks and had bathed recently.
Sounds like the beginning of a joke
He thought they were a match made in heaven, but she brushed him off and he decided to end it all.
Very sad. I've seen it many times.
87th & Lackman - what memories. We bought a house in Country Hill back in the late 1970’s. 87th was still a 2 lane road west of I-35. Just this one new subdivision and lots of cows. 3,000 square feet for $64,000 - which we thought was expensive at the time. Kids went to SMNW high school and played ball at 3& 2. Nothing was close and Panera’s wasn’t even in business back then. Guess I need to take a look around next time I go up there.
Revenge! Someone spilled coffee on the drivers’ Mac book.
