In light of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act and allow gay marriage to resume in California, some brands have decided to loudly show their support of marriage equality.
While Kenneth Cole was live tweeting the rulings, Orbitz celebrated with a marriage equality-themed flash sale. Goldman Sachs even tweeted a message that gay marriage would actually help build a stronger economy complete with a picture of a rainbow flag next to an American flag.
Even though brands risk extreme negative reactions from potential customers for messages about LGBT rights, that doesn't stop major corporations from flying their rainbow flags high.
1) After the decision marking DOMA unconstitutional was announced, Goldman Sachs tweeted its support of the ruling.
2) Orbitz announced a flash sale to celebrate the DOMA ruling and Prop 8 result that led to the legalization of gay marriage in California.
3) And Gap tweeted this not-so-subtle photo reacting to the ruling.
4) American Apparel had a similar reaction.

My local CFA is still doing better business than before the attempt to target them. I suspect they will see another boost in demand after this latest setback for America.
And these homos go to oppressed, Asian countries to have their clothes made at a hideously low cost so their profits to give libtard causes are huge...
Effing hypocrites all...
My original post was meant to convey that I just don’t buy anything that is popular because I am not very stylish. I suppose that I buy items from pro-faggot companies, but they were not on the list. I don’t filter my buy decisions through a prism (get it, rainbow ... lol).
I knew who the list or some of them, K Cole and Bud light, i just got right now.
At least I now know which companies support these fudgepackers and avoid them. When I boycott, it’s real. Have not bought a single HP product in 8 years since I bought a lemon.
My kid always did called it Gay And Proud
Truer words where never spoken.. I was a costume designer in Hollywood and I was so unusual, I was referred to in the industry as "The Real Guy", and that was back in the 60's... Ha!.. :)
This is why America will not be around much longer. They are promoting this debauched and shameful lifestyle! God is not pleased.
A former businessman stumbled on the very interesting conclusion that if employees are a little dishonest when they don’t think anyone is looking, like cheating on an honor system for pastries, they are likely a LOT dishonest in other ways.
From that he discovered that a dishonest, immoral or unethical corporate culture in a business is the same thing. That is, if they support dishonest, immoral or unethical policies, they will likely support politicians who are corrupt, as well as the creation of bad laws.
So he created an index of corporate honor. If they are not dishonest in their business dealings or with customers; if they do not sanction perversion or sexual abuse; and if they do not support wicked politicians as well, they are highly rated in the index, and good to do business with.
If they are not, then it is a good idea to steer your business away from theirs.
That has to be one of the most obnoxious websites I have ever had the displeasure of clicking to. How about just posting a list for us without having to be offended by suc h bilge spewing.
Yeah, I hear you. I dread knowing that it is about to get a whole lot worse. Just wait ‘till this trashy, low class advertising starts to appear on billboards and you hear “mommy, why are those two men kissing” from the back seat.
For the life of me, I do not understand why companies take political stances.
Yes. It makes no sense to alienate a HUGE portion of their clientele by doing something they know will be perceived as shockingly offensive. Pandering to the gay agenda is obviously more important to them than profits.
